| KA left-winger targeted by Anfield giants | ||||||||
| With the English Premier League transfer window opening in January, rumours are that Liverpool are keen on signing an unidentified left-winger (currently in his fifth year of medical school) on the Alternatives' books. The nature and cost of this deal has not been revealed but it could very easily have been conceived by the KAKAs player-coach Cai Jinyang, himself a self-confessed Reds fan. His frustration has caused him to suggest that his own player may well be the solution to Liverpool's current lack of width and a recognisable left-winger (no Emile Heskey does not count). Liverpool's need for wingers has been privately brought up and left in the Gardenias' coach's own Reds publication, Reds Digest, and sources close to Jinyang have revealed that he is seriously considering leaving his team temporarily short-handed in order to help out Gerard Houllier's ailing side. All that is left now is the player's personal terms and agreement to a possible deal that could see the KAKAs lose another valuable member of their team to an English side. |
