| Monday 7.8 I woke up around 8 o'clock. After the breakfast I went to the school and met the others there at 10am. I sat with Daniela, Karin and Aaron at the EF car park. Aaron went inside and forgot his keys out. Karin took the keys and put them to her pocket. Aaron didn't notice anything. We just sat there and he didn't notice anything. Until we went to the town and he wanted to put his bag to his car. We stand next to his car and Karin had his keys in her hand. We just laughed. We walked to tennis field, but there was a note, that we can't play because of tennis cup. And then it started to rain so we went to bowling. I was better than last time. After that we went to shopping with girls. We bought English flags, and everyone will write to those flags something nice and their names. After that we went back to the school. We talked with Aaron and he asked if we want to go to cinema or disco in the evening. We said that we want to go to disco, but we can't dance. And then he showed us how to dance. In the middle of EF car park he just started to dance and everyone was just watching him and wondering what he is doing. "Start by moving your feet like this. And then your shoulder and your head. After that you do with your arms like this. And soon all the boys are looking at you, because you dance so great" -Yeah, right... I'm not doing that. I feel myself so stupid when I dance. After that we had lessons and then we went to home and ate dinner. After the dinner I went to the disco with Veera and Tanja. We had really great time! Leaders were dancing on the table: YMCA and Macarena. It was a really nice evening. I was at home at 10.30pm. Tuesday 8.8 I woke up at seven o'clock and after the breakfast I went to the school. We had a general knowledge quiz. I, Rahel and Henrik won that and we got EF things. After the school we went to Dartmoor. We saw Dartmoor ponies. We (I, Essi, Oona, Heli and Sohvi) were late, but still, we weren't the last people who came to the bus. Aino came after us. And then Karin noticed that she has lost her mobile and she went to look for that. And then Essi noticed that she had also lost her mobile. She went to look for that with Oona. WE had to leave and Aaron stayed with Oona, Essi and Karin and they will come with next bus. After Dartmoor we went to Totnes. We were there an hour. It was quite boring city, but still quite small and cute. I bought fudge from fudge shop where they made it. I and Daniela met Karin, Rahel and Aaron. They hadn't found Karin's mobile. They tried to call to her mobile, someone has took it. (But finally Karin got her mobile back!) Essi found her mobile. After Totnes we went back to Torquay. I went to home and ate the dinner and after that I went to the disco. Again those same songs. YMCA. It is so fun, because that song you can dance although you couldn't dance anything else. So it is perfect to me. We didn't want to be in the disco, any one just didn't have that "party feeling". So I walked with Tanja and Veera to the bus stop and we saw Jaana. And Tanja started to "sing" : "Jenni likes Aaron, Jenni likes Aaron!" And Jaana just laughed. (Yeah, we had a nice bus trip after that. We just teased each others and laughed and laughed.) Wednesday 9.8 I woke up at eight o'clock, took shower and went to the breakfast. After breakfast I went to the school and met my group there and we went to go karting. It was great! I was better than Aaron and he just said: "It was okay for a girl" -ARGH! We came back by bus 12A, so we sat in the bus an hour. Aaron was talking with a Spanish boy about cars. The Spanish boy showed a picture about car and then Aaron said: "That is okay, but there has to be back seat in the car" I and Oona just laughed and thought "What an idiot!" (Sorry Aaron!) And then the Spanish boy said: "Why you need back seat? You can go to the hotel with a girl." I and Oona just thought: " ARGH. Boys!!" And we taught Finnish to Aaron: "Mit� kuuluu? (How are you?), Mit� mies? (How are you? / What's up guy? only for men), Yksi olut kiitos (one beer please), Ihan sama (what ever), Haista vittu (Fuck you) and Kasvain sanoi kas vain ja kasvoi vain sill� vain kasvain voi kasvaa noin vain (I'm not a pheasant plucker. I'm a pheasant plucker's son. I'm only plucking pheasants until the pheasant plucker comes.) All important things. After go karting we had school. We did a newspaper and wrote a story. After school I went to home and ate dinner and then back to town. We had crab racing. I got the biggest crab from our group ("Nils is not in our group!!" -Yeah, right xD) Aaron said that he would buy a ice cream for that who will get the biggest crab, but he said that he have to take money from cash machine, so Jaana said she could buy that ice cream and Aaron would pay back. "But it's not the same thing!" -Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot... but no one knows, and Aaron will pay this. "Yeah, then I can say to Tanja that Aaron bought me a ice cream and then she is so jealous." (-Buying a ice cream with Jaana. So, that kind of "ice cream moment".) Thursday 10.8 I woke up at 7am and after the breakfast I went to the school. We had a really nice lesson. We had to write a story and in that story has to be 15 words what teachers has given. (Those given words are underlined. Don't care about mistakes, because we didn't have much time to think, we just have to write. So there are many mistakes in that story and I know that, but I don't want to change those. I just write that story here like I wrote then.) : I went to school with my new sunglasses and then I noticed that I don't have teeth anymore. I panicked and run to shop and bought clothes pegs with all my coins. When I got a receipt from the shop I continued running and soon I didn't know where I was. I asked local people where I was and one of them gave me a compass. I watched the compass and run to the park. There I stopped and tied my shoelaces up. I took pictures of the park and soon I had to change batteries to the camera. After that I walked home and the weather was windy and I saw a feather flying. When I came home I took the key from my pocket, open the door and went to the living room. There was dark so I lightened a candle with matches. I played games with my family because they had a new dice and they wanted to try that. I won and got a new pencil sharpener and my little brother lost so he got only a piece of string. Another lesson we had a final test which was same kind of test like the first test. After the school Jaana told us news. There has been a terrorist at the Heathrow airport and we are not allowed to take any hand bags. After that we went to the beach and played volleyball. I was the worst player in the world. Aaron imitate Oona's style to run and we were laughing. We talked about relationships. Rahel's boyfriend is quite old and has used drugs. And Aaron told us that his longest relationship has been only four weeks. And again was a victim! Rahel and Aaron were playing with the ball and Aaron threw that ball right to my face! In the evening we were in the Kent's Cavern. It was an old cave. It wasn't scary at all. Because I have a little brother so I'm used to that someone tries to scary me. After that we went to the disco. It is our last disco evening. I was at home at 10.30pm. Michelle was late and she came 11.30pm |
