Another sticking point. The legs should be exactly together, and the paws right behind each other. In a really good pose, it will look likethe cat has only one front leg.
Now, look at this example.
This is THE biggest mistake I see in show posing. Look how the paws aren't together! Look at that! I call this the "3/4 turn pose," where the cat is angled when it takes the pose. This is very very bad. I can't stress this enough. Make SURE the front paws are together!
