Select-A-Color for light-sensitivity - $100

Most people with macular degeneration or other low vision difficulties find that they have an increased sensitivity to light and high contrast. For some, black text on a white background, or white text on a black background has more bright contrast than they would like. For optimal viewing, you can add optional Select-A-Color, which is a multi-color mode that will change the background and text color.  You have up to 24 different color combinations to choose from when you purchase the Select-A-Color option.
This photo demonstrates a yellow text on a blue background. You can get a better feel for this option if you look at the online demo. Different colors are available, allowing a total of 24 options, so that each user can find the combination that has the right amount of contrast for them.

Lines & Windowing - for extra help keeping your place on the screen- $100

The Lines & Windowing option is available on all our magnifier systems for an extra $100. This option is useful as a guide to help one keep their place on the screen, while moving the XY table from side to side and in and out. Two extra buttons are added to the camera unit, allowing you to create and move both vertical and horizontal lines wherever you want them. You can create lines on the screen to keep easier track of rows and columns, such as in a checkbook ledger.

We have also found that people who have a tendency for motion sickness can benefit greatly from the Lines & Windowing option. It helps "stabilize" your visual experience on the CCTV Magnifier.

Auto-Focus - easier focusing on rounded objects  - $200(Color), $400(B&W)
(Note that many of our listings already include this option in the price.)

The Reliant Auto-Focus CCTV with Freeze Frame may be just what you need. This CCTV is so easy-to-use, because the advanced digital camera automatically focuses on all your reading material.

Phone books, for example, are normally tough for a CCTV to focus, but not for the Reliant Auto-Focus CCTV. It reads into that curved binding with ease. Want to read a prescription number off a round Rx bottle? That too, is much easier with the Auto-Focus CCTV. Just put the bottle under the camera, and the camera automatically focuses on the bottle. Once you see the Rx number, touch the Freeze-Frame button, and the camera takes a picture of your Rx number. While the number is "frozen" onto the screen, you can call the pharmacist and once he or she is on the phone you are ready to read the Rx number off your Reliant CCTV. Reading and writing have never been easier! If you want the easiest CCTV to use, then you will want the Auto-Focus CCTV technology from Reliant.

PC Integration - for Personal Computer users - $200

Some users of our magnifiers also work on personal computers. If you wish to save space by using a single monitor viewer for both your PC and your Reliant CCTV Magnifier, we have a special Magnifier Camera for you. This model has an extra SVGA 15-pin port in the back, to plug in any SVGA computer monitor, rather than a normal TV monitor. It also comes with a foot switch, which you can press to switch the signal back and forth from the CCTV Magnifier to the PC, and vice-versa as you please.

1.5 Power Clip-on Diopter Lenses - easier screen focusing for seniors - $25

These 1.5 Diopter Clip-on lenses are great for seniors who use CCTVs, because they help your eyes focus. It is very important to minimize eye strain, and as a senior you know all too well that reading gets harder the older you get. Well, even when you have macular degeneration and use a CCTV, you may still need glasses for close focusing. These 1.5 Diopter Clip-on lenses allow you to see the CCTV as clearly and comfortably as possible. We strongly recommend you purchase them with your CCTV. May we also recommend that you purchase them before you purchase a CCTV, just to have while you are evaluating if you want to buy a CCTV. They just may make the difference between being able to benefit greatly from a CCTV, or not. These lenses sell for $25.
