St. Louis, MO
I was in St. Louis for the 2001 NCAA womens' final four. Sadly, UCONN would be unable to overcome the loss of Svet and Shea in a horrible 90-75 loss to Notre Dame. I wanted to leave St. Louis on Saturday right after the game, but was unable to due to my airline's Saturday stayover requirement. My friend Jeremy was able to leave. I spent Saturday sightseeing though I was still depressed about the game. I'm glad that I at least saw St. Louis, since I will probably never go there again in my life.
To the left is the famous St. Louis Arch(which is probably the only thing in the city worth seeing). To the right is a view I took from the top of the Arch. The building in the foreground is the Dred Scott Courthouse(I think).
To the left are two more pictures I took from the top of the Arch. The top is a view of Busch Stadium(home of the St. Louis Cardinals). To the bottom is a view of the Mississippi River.
To the left is a picture of the Sprit of St. Louis at the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park(the St. Louis equivalent of Central Park, NYC, though nowhere near as big or interesting). There is a statue of Thomas Jefferson in the background. Click here to return to my homepage.
