Scholar Books is a mini (a length scale smaller than 'nano') start-up publisher founded by a physicist on chomage since 2004AD.

The founder has published many scientific papers but never got a penny from his publication. Because he needs some food, he decided not to write any more paper. He will write books and get money. He also wants to teach in a university on physics. He has been a diligent (graduate) student. Some of our books are his solutions, with his professors' corrections. By publishing solutions he teaches worldwide. He had got real income from his publishing company. However small amount that might be, it is honest, tangible money from his hard-working. If he can become a millionaire, he will establish a physics institute and have a library comparable with the British Library or the Congress Library.

We start from an initial investment of less than Euro 100, if not zero. Before 2004 we cannot even afford printing a page in a public library. Thanks for those who support us, we have gradually had no problem to make our budget balance. Now we have our own computer, laser printer, and electronic scale. Our website can accept online credit card payment since 2006. At the beginning of 2007, our customer number has grown to an amount out of the memory capacity of any human being. We built our own database. We remember our mission. We are trying to be a good business man by improving customer satisfaction with reliable shipping and lower price. We treasure the friendship of our customer.

At the end of year 2008, we set up a full functioning online shop, although it sales mainly Chinese books.
