The competition is a round robin.
Three(3) points for a win; two(2) for a draw; one (1) for a loss.
Goals for and against do not count to determine position on the points table.
The competition is divided into three sections
VIC LEGGATT SHIELD for the overall winners
MACGREGOR CUP awarded to the best 'city' team. Points only count when the 'city' teams play each other.
LESCHKE CUP awarded to the best 'country' team. Points only count when the 'country' teams play each other.
