NAME	John Robb	I am the President of the Australian Armourer's Association currently based in Penrith NSW. Although we have been operating for a few years now, our membership is growing slowly, mainly by word of mouth. We hope to be cranking up our own web site soon and then hope that we can grow a bit more rapidly as our message gets out. Our intention is to act as a centralised, coordinating body with Branches (or Chapters) in each major centre or state. I hope that one of our main objectives will be to maintain a national data base of Gunnies old and new. ASAC provides free assistance in relation to pensions, welfare, compensation and entitlements, to all serving and ex-serving members of the ADF and their families. Our Advocates are trained and certified and provide their services at no cost to you.We have a new website which came on-line in December and while we have a strong following from the Navy,and more recently the Army, we need some RAAF bods to provide some balance. The ASAC website has everything from info on entitlements through to general ADF info, legislation details,medal info, and a number of Social forums and a memorial page. We even have an on-line Advocates Forum for those who can't make it in to our Brisbane, Queen Street Mall Office. Of particular interest to the RAAF is our Black Box Forum.
