On Saturday The Clearview Centre, at Clearview Terrace, Morningside, will resonate with the shimmering sounds of a full Balinese Gamelan Orchestra complimented by the swaying colours of traditional Balinese Dancers. The night will also feature a solo Asian Wind instrument performance from Balinese wind specialist Francis Gilfedder. The sights and sounds of Bali will be accompanied by delicious food, delectable desserts and coffee.

FUNDING INFORMATION FOR MUSICIANS

Kurt Olofsson, Music Program Officer at the Australia Council, will be available to discuss funding applications between 9.30 am and 3 pm on 25 February 2004 at the offices of Q Music. Client meetings are a great opportunity to discuss your specific projects and how to apply for support through the Council's grant categories. To make an appointment ring

"Living the Landscape" is a special painting and drawing residency for Flying Arts in 2004. It is an opportunity to
 take yourself out of your normal comfort zone, to connect with the amazing south-west Queensland landscape, and 
to explore your full creative potential under the guidance of two leading landscape artists Mandy Martin and Michael 
Pospischil. Living the Landscape will be held at Bingara, a 240,000 acre property 120km south west of Cunnamulla 
in south-west Queensland. The cost of $800 per person includes accommodation, all meals, transfers from 
Cunnamulla or Charleville and tuition for 6 days. Numbers are strictly limited to 20. For further information or a

T-Bone Trivia
An exciting new event is about to dawn on the already choc-a-block Brisbane Arts Calendar-  T-Bone Trivia, live from the Terminus Hotel. In association with Abigail’s Entertainment, the Terminus are adding to the excitement of their already very exciting steak night ($10 for a great steak, chips AND salad ) with the mental stimulation of “T- Bone Trivia”- a trivia night with a twist, that asks the questions that no one has previously dared to ask.
