Other Memories...
As most of you know, I was in Indianapolis for a year. That is not a very happy place for me, I got into depression because of all the politcs and changes in the music department. Many friends around me were so insincere and some even openly criticised my playing in the orchestra. Nevertheless, there are some wonderful times there. I got to know some really cool friends like Miho, Adam, Cindy, Eunice, and of course the most faithful of them all... NANOOK, the cute 5 year old Alaskan Malemute.

This picture was taken by my housemate, Victoria, to show me the 'winter coat' my car had while I was away in Singapore for winter break. Picture is taken right in front of our house.
Living room of the house. Looks comfortable huh?! I must say, this is the most comfortable place that I ever had in United States, having a room to my own and share the other parts of the house with an American man, who rented the rooms to me and Victoria.

Kitchen in the house, where most of our gatherings were. Not forgetting Nanook, following us all over the kitchen when we prepare our meals. No fail, i'll give her some treats, coz she is so cute!

In the picture is Tom, with his dog Nanook. The wonderful friend of mine. I remember crying in front of Nanook before, and she seem to know that I wasn't happy and tried very hard to make me smile. Or sometimes, she will just put her front leg onto me, trying to make me feel better!

From left to right: Joanne, Miho and Victoria. This picture was taken towards the end of fall semester. It was the last meet up at my place before Joanne go back to Hong Kong.

Just in case you guys haven't realise how huge this dog is... me and Victoria purposely make the dog stand tall (one of her legs are still touching the ground!) to see how big she is. Btw, this giant dog is 120 pounds! But definitely the sweetest giant dog I've ever met. So far, no one is afraid of her. Even my mom, can u believe it? Mom was scared at first because of Nanook's size, but once she got used to her, she even bid her goodbye before she left for Indianapolis Airport.

This picture was taken during one of the harshest winter in 20 years! In temperature as low as -26 degree celcius, we were told not to be outdoors for more than 10 minutes. But Nanook, in winter wonderland was enjoying herself lying on top of the snow. Like Tom said, this kind of weather is 'Nanook's Miami Beach'!!
