Part II

(Kang Ta's dream)

Why is it so dark?  Where is this place?  Why do I feel so insecure?

In the distance, there appeared a figure walking towards me.

            It’s you! I exclaimed, relieved to see a familiar face.  I ran to embrace her.  I cried with joy to see that she was okay, though I did not know why I would feel that way.  I hugged her hard, but pulled back suddenly, feeling that something was not right.

          Why are you so cold?  The figure did not reply.  Instead, her eyes looked away from me and rested on something behind me.  I turned around, slowly, and gasped.  I faced her again, pushing her away.  The other figure was now walking towards me. 

Stay away! Both of you, stay awayyyy!!  I began to run, in what direction, I did not know.
