The Du Wei Kindergarten Graduating Class 2007
Receiving their graduation certificates from the Principal, Megan Song
A musical gymnastics show by the Senior class
A dance show by the Senior class
The senior class presentation of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Here the evil stepmother-queen is commanding the soldier to kill Snow White.
The soldier tells Snow White what the queen has instructed, but he is going to let her go free. "Oh, really!" the little Snow White replies!
The seven dwarved arrive home to find Snow White sleeping on one of their beds.
She explains to them that the queen had ordered that she be killed.
Sure that Snow White has now been dispatched, the queen asks the mirror, "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the most beautiful of all?"
Learning that Snow White is still alive, the disguised queen goes to find her and gives her a poisoned apple.
Snow White takes a bite from the apple and immediately dies peacefully on the bed.
The queen is delighted and as she walks off stage she laughs, "Ha ha ha ha ha ... ha ha ha ha ha ... ha ha ha ha ha ...!", which got everyone in the audience laughing at poor Snow White's fate, too!
The dwarves return to find their dead housekeeper.
A prince arrives and seeing the dead Snow White is so entranced by her beauty that he kisses her corpse, whereupon she rises from the dead and he declares his love and proposes to her.
She happily accepts his proposal.
The cast singing "Skinnimarinkidink I love you"
At the end of the graduation show the senior class sang three of the songs I taught them this year: "Once upon a dream" (from the stage show Jekyll and Hyde, "Rain, rain, beautiful rain" (by Ladysmith Black Mambaso), and "Proud of you" (a Chinese song translated into English).
Trying to get the most out of my choir of little people!
