TABLE ETIQUETTE

Table etiquette calls for eating to be refined.  Basic rules include not eating with your mouth full of food, or putting fingers into your mouth to remove pieces of food stuck between your teeth.

When food is self – service, take a quick inventory of the quantity of food served and the number of people seated at the table, that will give you the idea of how much you put on your plate.  Serve your plate with others in mind.  Usually do not serve to satisfy yourself there may be more where will you feed to, pudding jelly, ice creams drinks.  It is embarrassing for the host to see visitors not eating.

Do not put bones on the table its embarrassing. In some cultures belching is encouraged as a sign of satisfactory and contentment or compliment the host.  The belching should not be so loud so as to draw everyone’s attention.

Do not have irritancy manners, which include living lipstick on cups, loud laughter, smoking, at the dinner table, chewing gum, and expecting to share a bath towel at the visitors who expect to share towels, flush the toilet after use.

And etiquette is for everyone from gardener to Chief Executive.  Good social behavior and appropriate dress can make you stand in the crowd, it is part of the body language that can draw people to you or repel them.  The image that you present can make or break you.

INVITATION – If you are invited and your wife can’t come – NEVER bring your mistress.  The correct thing to do is to bring your eldest daughter.

Public speaking is also part of behavior how to give vote of thanks.  Do not be too long in speech.

Etiquette put, order into life where inter personal skills are put together.  Without etiquette you are creating a situation where the person sitting next to you is agitated or unhappy.

Dress codes at the hospitality industry is necessary.  Dress etiquette is vital:  imagine you are by an old fashioned restaurant that says collar and ties, then you are seen putting on overalls or shorts.  Dress etiquette differs from place to place.

How about gestures putting a chair for your wife when she is about to sit down  these manners are desirable and people should carry on doing them it makes the lady feels important.
