Lighting and perspective can make the difference between a picture and a photograph.
Audio and Photography are related in that they both attempt to recreate a real event. Example: the view of the Yosemite Valley from the south entrance. You can attempt to record the event in digital or analog, but neither one will equal to being there, however they can remind you of what it was like.
