Gustave Vigeland created his own world of humans and animals - in stone, iron and bronze-                     Back to Home Page
over 200 statue groups, all nudes, describing human life from birth to death. A 55 foot granite
block monolith, with 121 figures, stands as the center of this well planned, 80 acre park.
Vigeland never explained these works, leaving the interpretation to each beholder.
