Queen City Cricket Club (QCCC)
QCCC was formed in FALL 2002 by two graduate students and a professor of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte namely Saidapet Ramesh, Saurabh Mishra and Dr.Harish Cherukuri. With active and strong support from fellow graduate students Saravanakumar Balasubramanian and Siddharth Sharma, QCCC was started and presently the entire club consists of more than 15 members from various parts of the world, who love to play the greatest sport of all times - "CRICKET".
The motive of QCCC is to play and enjoy the game of cricket anytime and anywhere in the world! We participate in the Mid Atlantic Cricket Conference (MACC) league every year. Our first appearance in the MACC league was in 2003 season. Though we did not qualify for the playoffs, we finished the 2003 season successfully by finishing at 12th position out of 21 teams that participated in the qualifying games! We have practice sessions once a week (on friday or saturday of a week) and almost play a friendly match on every sunday. We invite you to find more information about the activities of our club and details about our club members by following the links in the website. QCCC is always open for cricket fanatics and if you are one among the lot, please fill out the online membership form located in the 'Join QCCC' link of the website.
