Cookie Cake Instructions

Pan: any shape 12-inch Wilton Cookie Pan
Servings: about 15

Use one roll of refrigerated cookie dough (any brand) or use 2 cups of your own homemade dough (any flavor). Spray the pan and your hands with Pam cooking spray. Spread dough evenly in bottom of pan. Don't go all the way to the sides - the dough will spread out as it bakes.

Bake at 375°F for 12 to 15 minutes. Do not overcook. If the sides do go over the pan, pat them down gently immediately after removing from the oven.

Cool for 10 minutes. Turn out onto a cooling rack and then flip onto another cooling rack so it can cool right side up.

After it has cooled completely, put a little bit of icing onto a 14-inch cake board (to prevent the cookie from slipping) and place the cookie onto the cake board.
Ice and decorate as desired. Place in 14-inch (pizza) box.

Here is a way to make 21 (2 inch) pieces out of a 12 inch round cookie cake: Use a 2 ¼ inch round cookie cutter for the center of the cake. Then cut a 7 inch circle. Then cut the two large outer circles into 2 inch pieces. After cutting decorate as desired.
