Gooey Butter Pecan Bars

1 box Butter Pecan cake mix (Betty Crocker)
1 stick butter, melted
1 egg

Mix together and pat into bottom of greased 9x13" pan.

1 8-oz pkg cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
1 stick butter, melted
1 lb confectioners sugar
1 1/2 - 2 cups chopped pecans

Mix eggs and cream cheese until smooth. Add vanilla and butter; mix. Add sugar and mix well. Pour over cake mixture. Sprinkle pecans on top of that. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Don't overbake. (Center will be gooey.)
