This indenture
made this 15th day of March 1852 between David Robertson of the
County of Clay & State of Kentucky of the one part & William
H Allen and Drucilla his wife (daughter of said Robertson) of
the other part both parties of the County & State aforesaid
Witnesseth that the said Robertson hath this day given to his
said daughter Drucilla (and wife of said Allen) & her heirs
the boundary of land herein set forth as her full share of his
landed Estate & bounded as follows, to wit: beginning on the
south bank of Goose Creek opposite the mouth of the Turnip Patch
Branch at a beech, -----, and sugar tree at the mouth of a small
drain thence 32 E 5 poles to a stake about the center of said
creek thence up said creek about the center N 49 * (degrees) West
40 poles to a stake thence S 81 west 52 to a stake thence N 79
west 22 poles to a stake thence S 59 W 18 poles to a stake thence
S 25 W 78 poles to a stake thence S 32 E 5 poles to 2 beech and
poplars on the eastern bank of said creek thence S 65 E 60 poles
to two beeches, chestnut oaks and sugar tree thence N 60 east
76 poles to two beeches and sugar tree thence N 32 E 50 poles
to the beginning containing by survey sixty acres be the same
more or less. To have & to hold the given land & premises
to the only proper use and benefit & behoof of her the said
Drucilla Allen her heirs and assigns forever and the said David
Robertson for him self & his heirs does covenant and agree
to and with the said Drucilla Allen to warrant and forever defend
the above described tract of land to the said Drucilla her heirs
or assigns forever and against the claim of him self or his heirs
and from & against the claim or claims of all or every person
or persons claiming under, through or by him as witness my hand
& seal the day & date above.

I, William Woodcock
Clerk of the County Court aforesaid certify that this deed from
David Robertson to William H Allen & wife was this day produced
to me in my office & acknowledged by the said David Robertson
to be his act and deed. Whereupon the same together with the foregoing
certificate have been duly admitted to record in my office.
