This indenture made & entered into this 24th day of September 1852 between David Robertson of the one part & William B Allen & Sally his wife of the other part all of Clay County Kentucky witnesseth that for & in consideration of the love and affection I have and bear toward my daughter Sally Allen wife of the said W B Allen I have this day granted, bargained & sold and do by these presents grant bargain & sell unto the said Sally Allen and her heirs a certain tract or boundary of land lying and being in the County of Clay on Goose Creek and bounded as follows, to wit: beginning at 2 black gums hickory and poplar corner of W H Allen 32 1/2 acre survey near the head of the Turnip Patch Branch thence N 28 W 38 poles to a black oak S 50 W 14 poles to a chesnut S 35 W 14 poles to a black oak bush thence S 28 W 46 poles to a pine on the point thence S 37 W 20 poles to a beech thence S 49 W 46 to a sycamore crossing Laurel Creek thence down said creek S 38 E 34 poles to a black walnut near the mouth of Laurel Creek S 22 W 9 poles to 3 white oaks on the point thence up said point N 80 W 16 poles to a black oak and white oak thence S 82 W 26 poles to a white oak and hickory thence N 66 W 20 poles to a white & hickory thence S 80 W 12 poles to a white oak and hickory thence N 48 W 20 poles to a chestnut oak and spotted oak thence S 36 W 26 poles to a black gum thence south 14 poles to a gum S 24 W 18 poles to a pine & white oak thence S 8 E 27 poles to a pine & black S 35 E 16 poles to a white oak S 50 E 8 poles to a white oak S 60 E 44 poles to an elm on the bank of Goose Creek at the mouth of a small drain same course continued 4 poles further thence down the center of said creek to Joshua Etherton's fish trap to a corner of the said W H Allens 32 acre survey thence with same N 4 E 35 to a rock thence N 27 E 102 poles to the beginning containing 125 acres be the same more or less. To have & to hold unto the said Sally Allen wife of the said W B Allen & the heirs of the said Sally forever free from the claims of myself & my heirs I do warrant & defend the title to the same. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the date above written.

I William Woodcock Clerk of the County Court aforesaid certify that this deed from David Robertson to William B Allen & wife was this day produced to me in my office & acknowledged by the said David Robertson to be his act & deed whereupon the same together with the foregoing certificate have been duly admitted to record in my office. Given under my hand this 24th day September 1852.
