| In the Underground Railroad book, Eleanor Burns teaches many different methods to make the sampler blocks. You may choose to make the blocks exactly as she demonstrates in the book. If so, you will use her exact cutting instructions. You can either cut out everything at once or block by block. If you choose other methods to make units such as flying geese and 1/2 square triangles, you might have a slight change in the cutting to suit that particular method. In that case you sill need to plan ahead the changes, or cut month by month as we go. |

| This years project as a group this year is the Underground Railroad Sampler quilt. We are hoping to get our blocks done together at the mettings so that we hon't have any home work!? Bring your cutting supplies, machine, fabric for the Underground Railroad quilt and your book if you have one. You might want ot bring baggies and labels if you are planning on cutting ahead. |
