for a few months ago
for a few months ago
the lord showed me how to
focus right and see the light
for he landed a bird so bright
and full of light, even the light of night
just to show me how to focus right
since i be a creature of the night
for a few months ago i met my life
I met a bird with a light so bright
i am wonderen
if i have met my wife for life
who shines with this light tonight
but is filled with so much strife?
maybe if i focus right
when the clouds lift from
this mortal soil i live upon
the soul i live within
and
without acknowlegement as
such a thing as sin,
for then and then only will be
what it shall take to love.
again surronded by her glory
where heaven will never stop
being what it was and what it is.
reaping every day a new story of glory
if i only but choose to focus
right - even in the night -
somewhere sometime -
all things will be just fine!
