TODAY I STAND ~ MISSIN MY BIRD

AND STILL REMAIN U SEE

PATIENT AS THIS OL' LONE TREE,

THAT STANDS IN THE SUN.

STANDS HERE ALL UNDONE.

DEAD ON THIS LAND

RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME,

IT STILL TALKS TO ME

IT WHISPERS IN THE WIND.

AND THE ANSWERS COME.

FOR SHE WAS THE ONE,

THAT STOOD IN THE SUN

AND WILL ALWAYS BE FOREVER AND EVER..

A LOVE IN MY HEART NEVER UN-DONE,

EVEN WHEN THERE IS NO SUN.

This ol tree still stands

Awaiting her return
