Our Trip to the Smokey Mountains

Easter 2003

While in the mountains we went to the Ripley's Aquarium.

David wearing the hat Grandma bought him at the zoo the day before.

Erich really wanted those sting rays and he really wanted David's hat.

At the cabin:

We had a beautiful view but it rained Friday and Saturday.

Much to our surprise this is what we woke up to on Sunday morning.

We were without electricity which meant no heat and no water.

We were definitely out of there before check out.

It was a beautiful cabin but the driveway and the roads going to it

were very steep. We did not relish the opportunity to drive down them in the snow.

We did wait until it had melted some.
