"The Rustling of the Wind"
By:  Thelma J. Troke

Mommy, I was surprised,
When Jesus called my name.
I thought I was getting better,
But He called me just the same.

I guess it was just my time,
When the Angel took my hand.
The light shown all about me,
And helped me to understand.

I looked up and saw Jesus,
He said, "Come let's go play."
I'm going to miss my Mommy & Daddy,
You too, will understand someday.

I'm glad I'm your little boy,
Cause you showered me with love.
I learned all about our Jesus,
And the Heavenly Father above.

Mommy & Daddy, Please don't cry,
And wipe away your tears.
Let Jesus comfort your heart,
He'll drive away your fears.

Jesus wants to hold you close,
And give you strength today.
He wants to encourage you,
To follow Him all the way.

Remember, I'll always be with you,
In spirit and in truth.
Wherever you go, whatever you do,
I'll be there, just like "Ruth".

Memories are ours to share,
The good time and the bad.
Put a smile on your face,
And please, don't be sad.

It's really nice to be with Jesus,
I feel so loved in His arms.
When He picked me up and held me,
I won Him by my charms.

There is happiness in Heaven,
Together with my best Friend.
Remember, I'm right beside you,
In the rustling of the Wind.

"May I Go?"
By:  Susan A. Jackson

May I go now?
Do you think the time is right?
May I say goodbye to pain filled days
and endless lonely nights?

I've lived my life and done my best.
An example tried to be.
So can I take that step beyond
and set my spirit free?

I didn't want to go at first.
I fought with all my might.
But something seems to draw me now
to a warm and loving light.

I want to go.  I really do.
It's difficult to stay.
But I will try as best I can
to live just one more day.

To give you time to care for me
and share your love and fears.
I know you're sad and afraid,
because I see your tears.

I'll not be far.
I promise that.  And hope you'll always know
that my spirit will be close to you,
wherever you may go.

Thank you so for loving me.
You know I love you too.
That's why it's hard to say goodbye
and end this life with you.

So hold me now, just one more time
and let me hear you say,
because you care so much for me,
You'll let me go today.
