Sunday, February 25, 2007, over 100 Pythians, family and friends gathered at our fifth annual "Paid up Membership Brunch". It was a great time to celebrate: to celebrate our Friendship for one another, to celebrate the approaching Spring time, and to celebrate being a member of this great Order.
The Chairs for the morning, Grand Vice Chancellor Jimmy Indig and Immediate Past Grand Chancellor Ivor Schwartz welcomed all members to come and enjoy a great feast at a Montreal Hotel. This is the fifth annual event, and next year will be even bigger and more exciting.
In his opening address, welcoming Pythian Brethren, Brother Indig remarked that this crowd was just a little bigger than an average Pythian Lodge Meeting. This was the first, of hopefully many, welcoming speech that Brother Jimmy will be making.
If you enjoyed this morning festivities, we must make plans to attend the closing dinner party, that will be held next June 10, 2007. This party is a dual celebration, because this will mark our 100th birthday party. Grand Chancellor Gerry Safran guarantees a most memorable evening.
