Bottom 5
Only Fools and Horses - what a true classic of a program, I have probably repeatedly watched episodes of this show more times than any other, my recorded tapes are beginning to break down!. Personal favourite episode: "Dates".
El Dorado - well at least the BBC realised that it was crap and cancelled it!
Scooby Doo - it's very difficult to come up with a last favorite show (Blackadder, Buffy The Vampire Slayer or Quantum Leap could easily have filled the space), but Scooby Doo was my favourite cartoon when I was younger so it has to go in my top 5, excellent drug references, although I never realised it when I was younger! I have seen the new film, and I liked the twist at the end, plus Shaggy was very much as I imagined he would be, my favourite actor in the film.
Blake's 7 - well actually the first two series (the ones with Blake in) were pretty bad, but made up for by the final two series. Avon (played superbly by Paul Darrow, quite possibly my favourite actor ever!) made the series for me, sometimes it's like watching Shakespeare in space! Without Avon the episodes wouldn't have been worth watching. Personal favourite episode: "Warlord", full of Shakespearean actors and a multitude of the trade mark Blake's 7 double crosses.
Red Dwarf - has made me laugh more than another other show, particularly series six. Unfortunately series seven went downhill, series eight improved though. My Red Dwarf collection is quite massive now, maybe I've had too much time on my hands? Personal favourite episode: Meltdown (series four), although it's a very close call with Legion (series six). Rimmer is definitely my favourite character, about the only thing he's good at is insults!
Urotsukidoji (The Overfiend Series) - the original erotic Manga. The first two were realised as films, but I'd consider them all a television series, albeit not a show that should ever be shown on TV!!! Extremely entertaining, just when you think it can't get anymore fucked up, it does. Urotsukidoji is often a reminder to me, when I'm depressed that things could be a lot more fucked up! I particularly liked the inclusion of Nazis into the second part, and not just Nazis, but Hitler himself trying to bring destruction to the world by using demons! Urotsukidoji III parts 3 and 4 are also extremely entertaining Manga, blood, guts people being sliced in two etc.!, but I still find Urotsukidoji I the most entertaining, it does have probably the most fucked up moment in the Urotsukidoji series. Note part of Urotsukidoji III and most of Urotsukidoji IV was banned in the UK, the goverment thinking that most of Urotsukidoji IV was more fucked up than some scenes from the first film. Well thats their opinion as to what we all can and can't see .........
