Religion
The following is a list of the religious and holy books I own. I have tried to make a complete collection of religions from around the world, but it's difficult to find holy books for some religions. As stated on the homepage I'm a athesist and not religious, but it is a hobby.
Note: I dislike Jehovah's Witnesses coming round as much as the next guy, so piss off!
Good News Bible (Author: God) - so far I have read up to Proverbs;
The Bible, Authorized King James Version With Apocrypha (Author: God) - a very very thick version feels like value for money, plus a bonus picture of God on the front cover, well actually it's Jeremiah, but it looks like God should look!;
The Book Of Jasher (Author: God, Translator: Flaccus Albinus Alcuinus) - a lost book of the Bible;
Book of Mormon, Revised Authorised Version (Author: Mormon, Translator: Joseph Smith, Jr.) - bit of a floppy cover;
The Book Of Enoch (aka Enoch I, Author: God, Editor: R. H. Charles) - a banned book of the Bible, fasinating work on fallen angels among other things;
The Book Of The Secrets Of Enoch (aka Enoch II, Author: God, Editor: R. H. Charles) - again banned by the Catholic church during the middle ages;
The Hebrew Book Of Enoch (aka Enoch 3, Author: God, Editior/Translator: Hugo Odeburg) - extremely rare, just try and get hold of this, and no it's not for sale;
The Book Of The Angel Rezial (Author: The Angel Rezial, probably under God's supervision, Editor/Translator: Steve Savedow) - in rabbinic lore this book contains all celestial and earthly knowledge, but what I'm pleased about is that this is a signed copy;
The Satanic Bible (Author: Anton Szandor LaVey) - had to be included if only to scare off Jehovah's Witnesses;
The Buddha-Dhamma Or The Life And Teachings Of The Buddha (Author: Narada Thera) - difficult to obtain, but well worth it, Buddhism is my favourite religion, a religion that doesn't teach you to kill someone for not believing;
The Koran (Author: God, Translator: N. J. Dawood) - fasinating to see that the Koran encompasses the same Angels as in the Jewish religion;
Tao Te Ching (Author: Lao Tzu, Translator: Ch'u Ta-Kao) - so far the only religious book I have finished reading, probably because it's the shortest, a friend tells me this is in fact philosophy, not religion, but to him I say "who cares", very confusing to read, but interesting;
The Holy Vedas (Author/Revealer: Brahman, Translators: Bibek Debroy and Dipavali Debroy) - contains the four books of the Vedas: Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atharva Vedas, difficult to get hold of;
Upanishads (Author/Revealer: Brahman, Translators: F. Max-Muller and Suren Navlakha) - concluding part of the Vedas, appears to be more philosophy.
