With Tim and Megan both fairly active toddlers now, as parents Pia and I are usually just in survival mode. We don't get out much except to take the kids somewhere. That said, we do get to do a lot of fun activities that we haven't done for years!
We have an annual pass to the Aquarium and model train museum, and make good use of my bus pass to take the two bus fanatics out on many bus rides. We also take frequent advantage of the local playgrounds, beaches and forest trails (especially because of all the berries, which they LOVE eating).
We do also go out most weekends and some evenings (kids activities), but it's usually too difficult to both control the children AND try take photos.
It's not very easy getting pictures of Megan "the mouth", except when she's eating - she moves around too much. She had quite a reputation at the daycare as a big eater too. Megan is still very cute, toddling around (not yet running), able to say many words but not yet communicate much, and loves going out.
Tim often asks amazingly complex questions and is also full of enthusiasm and energy (ie. high maintenance). He is also often very difficult, especially at bed times. As you can tell, he loves trains.
Tim and Megan have great fun together most of the time - and behave badly some of the time too. Megan sometimes bits and attacks Tim when he doesn't want to play; Tim whines and sometimes plays too roughly with her too. But they usually have a good time.
Quite a handful.
