| A Starmine is a Pyrotechnic device that fires a bunch of stars into the air at once. Kinda like a shotgun only with stars instead of shot! So if you can invision how a Shotgun Shell works then these are quite simple to understand! Personally I love them.... but you don't find them very often in stores... Occasionally you'll see them in professional displays but other than that your not likely to ever see one... So it really surprises people when you break one out!
