| Flight: Failure What Happened: Ignition was good, but almost immediately a large puff of smoke was seen and the rocket lost all thrust and crashed to the ground. Cause: The Nozzle was to thin and blew out. The parachute was also found after recovery to have broke loose from the rocket. A new method of attaching it must be found... Idea's welcome!! Overall the flight was a failure.... I was pleased to see that the engine came up to pressure quickly and the principal certainly worked. The engine is easily corrected and the Rocket was undamaged. |
