The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
Game of TheYear Edition

By: Nick
For us, this game was one of the most anticipated games of the year.  We are HUGE  Morrowind fans and when this finally came out I was disapointed when I looked in my wallet and found it to be empty.  With Christmas only a couple of months away I asked for it as a Christmas present and until xmas I trained my character until he was so good that I was killing Oridnators in 4 to 5 hits.  When I finally got it I ran upstairs and began playing I wasn't diaspointed at all.
Morrowind has about a 120+ hours in it.  GOTY has about 100+. So if your just starting out you got 220+ hours to play.  GOTY  contains the original Morrowind game, and the Tribunal and Bloodmoon Expansion packs.  Tribunal starts when you sleep for a period of time.  Unfortuantly for lower level characters, Tribunal will not start until you are level 6.  Bloodmoon starts when you ask about the latest rumors. To get to the island of Solsotheim there is a boat from Khull.  Or you could swim.  A cool features about GOTY is that you can use characters from your original Morrowind Game in GOTY.  Now lemme explain to you the two new games.
About 95% of Tribunal takes place in Mournhold or under it.  Yes thats right your going underground. To the ancient city of Mourhold, but it basically looks like a giant sewer.  Cus thats what it is.  The other 5% takes place in the clockwork city of Sotha Sill, but i wouldn't really call it a city.  Mournhold is split up into 5 different  sections, The Plaza, which connects you to the other sections, Godsreach; which is were most of the citizens of Mournhold live, Great Bazzar; which contains many shops and attractions, the Temple; where the giant temple complex is located, and the Palace; where King Helseth lives.   When your in Mournhold there is just about a quest everywhere you go.  In every house in Godsreach, the people who live there have a quest they want you to do.  Great Bazzar also contains many quests.  Tribunal adds 3 new types of armor, High Oridnator Indorial, Adamatorie, and Royal Guard.  Each are very good and very valuable.  The Duegons in Mournhold are GIGANTIC, so have fun.  The main quest is very fun and detailed and you recieve Lord Nerevar's sword, Trueflame.  Its really good.
Bloodmoon takes place on the frozen island of Solsotheim.  Located northwest of Vvardenfell, the main quest involves stopping the Bloodmoon Prophecy.  There are two ways you can complete the main quest, as your normal self or as a werewolf.  Being a werewolf is much better than being a vampire and although there is a cure for it, I have never found anything or anyone that says it will cure me so unless you do your stuck as a werewolf..  The second big quest in Bloodmoon involves the East Empire Company.  Yes folks, they finally mean something.  In fact, you can join them and create a conlony in Solsotheim.  At the end you are named the Factor of the colony, (which means ur in control) and they give you a house.  You actually get 2 houses on Solsotheim so if you have a stronghold back on Vvardenfell you now have a totel of 3 houses.  There also is more armor in Bloodmoon like Nordic heavy armor, Ice Armor, and custom armor like wolf or bear.  The whole island is filled with barrows and ice huts, and there a many side quests to do in Bloodmoon as well.  Plus, theres snow!
GOTY is a not only a great game, it is the most detailed game ever created.  With hundreds of  quests and one the biggest game worlds if not the biggest game world ever created this game definantly backs up its title of Game of the Year.
I give the Elder Scrolls III:  Morrowind Game of the Year Edition a:

9.7/10
This is a pic of being a werewolf.  You cannot use any weapons or armor and all your attributes and skills are changed but they fit a werewolf very well.  Being a werewolf has its advantages and disadvantages but I wouldn't recommend it especially for your main character. But the choice is yours.
This is a pic of the island of Solsotheim.  The farther you go north the more snow comes down and the more monsters for you to fight.  Getting caught in a blizzard is like getting caught in a blight storm.
This is a pic of the Mournhold Plaza.  Many High Oridinators (right) and Palace Guards roam the Plaza.  Mournhold is probably the most beautiful city in the game.  The buildings and landscape are very unigue.
