Rising Sun

Rising Sun has a few major problems. One, they didn't fix the problems that were in Frontline. Bad A.I. Invisible walls. Poor gameplay. Now, I tell you all these things about Frontline and you think, "How could I have liked it if it had all these problems?" Well now, let me tell you. I enjoyed the game. That is the number one thing that all game designers want to ahceive. For the person playing the game to enjoy it. It doesn't matter if the game had really good graphics, if its not fun than the game is a failure. Because the game was fun, I didn't really care about the bad A.I. or bad gameplay. Thats why Rising Sun sucked. It wasn't fun. It was basically the same things expect there screwing each other.
EA did some things they thought would make it better. Cut scenes. Two-player campaign. But they screwed them up big time. The cut-scenes aren't anything special, the main character is cheering and giving high-fives to another soldier as Pearl Harbor comes to a close. I mean, it doesn't matter how many planes you shoot down, your not going to be celebrating as thousands of soldiers are dying all around you!! What the hell was EA thinking there? Also, when doing the two-player campaign the other player is smiling as well. It just looks freaky! Watching someone walk as their crouched down is one of the most sickening things I've ever seen. And the two-player campaign takes out all the other friendly A.I. so its basically your friend and you against a whole Japaneese army. And when a cutscene pops up and talks about a bunch of stuff that I didn't do I think to myself, what the hell they could be talking about? I didn't try the multiplayer but I wouldn't bother, the Frontline multiplayer wasn't that good. Stick to Halo. The weapons were basically the same but they wern't any better. There are a few new types of weapons but there nothing special.
My advice to EA; trash the Medal of Honor series and stick with Battlefield 1942. You ruined Medal of Honor by releasing this game. If you had put some time and effort into this game to make sure everything is right, you coulda made a lot more money. And kept a lot of fans. I wanted to like this game but I just can't. It sucks. Want some more advice EA? Stop making so many damn Sims games. Its getting really old. And don't try to make games as fast as you can, or they'll end up just like Rising Sun. And that little partnership you have with Playstation 2's so called "online play" trash it and get your games onto Xbox Live. You'd make much more money. Oh ya, I gotta give you my score:
