Thousands of years ago, a powerful force stood against the Pharaoh and his council. This evil, known as the Tomb Thief or King of Theives, was sealed, like the Pharaoh and the powers of his council, into a Millennium Item; saving the world from his evil. However, thousands of years later, a man walking through an Egyptian market saw a curious object. He bought it, and gave it to his son, Ryou. Now with the body of a living being to posess, the essence of the Tomb Thief forces Ryou to relinquish control over his body whilst he plots to gain the power of the ancient Millennium Items and finish the job he started long ago in the land of Egypt.
