Serenity Wheeler
Serenity is Joey's sister. They were seperated after their parents devorce when they were kids. They didn't see each other for years, until Serenity told Joey about her medical problem. She had an eye condition that would eventually make her go blind if treatment couldn't be afforded. This is why Joey went to Duelist Kingdom with Yugi- there was a 3 million dollar cash prize for the winner. Although he made it to the semi-finals, Joey lost to Yugi. However, when Yugi won, he gave Joey the cash to pay for Serenity's operation. Now able to see him duel, she continues to be a living breathing piece of motivation and inspiration to Joey.
