The Watcher

In Brief:Myrandel started out in the series as the omniecent ghost of BL who pops in every once in a while to give advice or ask for help. In that arc, he is the angel-prophet who brought the prophecy of the nine guardians to earth and then was killed by Regent for it (and other reasons).
Myrandel does not appear in the Present arc. In the future arc, however, he takes on the position of the unofficial leader of the Shields due to his natural planning and tactical skills. Though he rarily uses his powers, the others still look to him for a sense of leadership.
Powers:In the past arch, he was a seer and could also use angelic magecraft, though his powers in the future arc are similar, his seeing gift seems to have given way to more physical psychokenetic abilities. He remains telepatic and has the ability to scry at will, though he rairly uses any of these powers. Of the half-breeds in the future saga, he is the strongest with magic.
The Healer

In Brief:Quiet and empathic, Rhodry is kinda the "mother" of the shields and takes care of the Guardians as well. As a healer, he has a natural disposition for trying to keep people safe and sometimes puts himself in dangerous situations in order to help. Granted, he does spend a lot of time half-counsious due to over using his powers to help, but he sincerely does want to keep everyone safe.
In the past arc he was also known as Trahern.
Powers:Rhodry is a natural healer and can use his life energy to heal both others and himself. Though personal healing is, for him, a natural occurance, it takes effort to heal others and often leaves him weak afterwords. Unlike Marina, his abilities are not developed enough as of now for him to perform a reverse healing. Rhodry is also a very good flyer.
The Seer

In Brief:Fairly shy and quiet towards people he doesn't know, Kevin used to get picked on a lot in school. He hooked up with Mark when the two were fairly young, brought together by the friendship between their two sisters. Kevin is often downplayed in the series due to his power, which causes imense power-overloads when it springs on him uncalled for.
Powers:Kevin is a precognative psychic and while he has other psychic powers such as telekinesis and telepathy, his powers mostly manifest as visions and psychic projection. Said visions usually wear him down and leave him with violent headaches.
The Hunter
Name: Tooya
Age: 22 (physicaly)

In Brief:Tooya only appears in the future arc, as his situation, which will be explained in SS, causes him to exist in a completely different state in the Present and Past arcs. An anti-social and cold-seeming man, Tooya appears very standoffish and sullen, though at times he does crack a witty sarcastic joke or two. His facade hides a bit of emotional imbalance due to a slight identity crisis, which Balthas' advisor uses to his advantage.
Powers:Tooya can mark and track any living thing. An odd ability, but a useful one, it is nearly impossible to sneak up on him due to his inhanced sensorary perseption.
The Sorcerer

In Brief:Jason is kind of the comic relief of the story due to his akward personality. As he seriously dislikes feeling depressed, he will do anything to cheer up those around him, even if it means making himself look like an ass in the process. Often his twin, Joe, is forced to keep him in line.
Powers:Jason can manipulate life energy into magecraft. His power signature is orange.
The Mage

Powers: Joe, like his brother, can maniuplate his life energy as magecraft. His power signature is red.
The Swordsman

In Brief:In reality, Mark is the only shield without true supernatural abilities. His strength lies in his near unbeatable swordsmanship. Mark is the elder brother of Anne in the present series and both Anne and Marina in the future. He does not appear in the past arc. In the future arc he is kind of Aria's unofficial care-taker, with Joe around to help most of the time. He's the groups quiet support and tends to get lost beneath the supernatural abilities his team posesses.
