The man quickly jumped from his chair and shrieked in pain as he fell to the floor on his knees. Rinoa's hand folded and withdrew, reaching for her pinwheel.
"What are you doing?" Yumenegau rose up from the floor, shakily.
A mischievous smile crossed Rinoa's red lips, "Just seeing if my power is working." She drew out the pinwheel and examined in front of her, quickly, she threw it across the room. "I won't need that."
Yumenegau ambled to the door and opened it slowly, standing aside for his mistress, now in her new body. The raven-haired girl looked back to see the real Waruitenshi lifting from the floor. Her golden hair cascaded over her shoulders, eloquently. Though her eyes were blood shot and red rimmed. She had dark circles under her eyes and a tired look to the rest of her once beautiful face.
The golden-haired girl clenched her fists. Quickly she began to run at Rinoa, fury pulsing through her veins. She had no weapon, but for a moment she did look slightly dangerous. Rinoa cast meteor on the beautiful girl, and she fell to the ground, hidden in the shower of giant rocks.
Yumenegau shoved Rinoa through the door and she hit the wall with light impact, narrowing her eyes dangerously she turned to Yumenegau, "I can use all of my powers now, fool! You will not touch me! You will not boss me around! From now on, I am in charge, like I am supposed to be!"
Yumenegau clenched his teeth bitterly and stalked down the elaborately decorated hallway. He guided the sorceress up a small staircase, covered in green velvet. Large paintings hung on the walls. Paintings of people dressed eloquently, of the sun setting over the ocean, and others. Rinoa's body wouldn't allow her to stop and admire the paintings, she kept up her pace until they reached a door. Yumenegau walked through first and held the door for her.
The sorceress's skin was inclosed in cold when she walked through the doorway onto the rooftop of the large building. She glanced around to see the roof tops were covered in soft white snow. Flurries of snow danced around her in the bitter wind of this cold environment. She then placed her brown eyes upon the small ship in front of her.
The, awkwardly quiet, Squall look-a-like climbed to the top of the bluish transport and pressed some buttons to open a hatch on the side of the ship. Without hesitation, Rinoa walked into the ship and took a place in the copilot's seat, as Yumenegau followed and seated himself as pilot. Starting up the engines and taking off, Rinoa couldn't help but wonder what came next.
It had been two days, Selphie refused to speak to anyone, and spent all of her time, alone in her dormitory. The unhappy SeeD had been released from the Infirmary the day before, and hadn't come out of her dormitory sense.
Though, Quistis's many attempts, to cheer the girl up, had failed, she wouldn't give up. The blond SeeD knock gently on Selphie's door, getting no reply.
The SeeDs that were alive in Garden had all began clean up. Repairing power shortages, from the battle, and burying the casualties. Still there remained no sign of Cid or Xu. Luckily, the SeeDs that betrayed the garden, and lived through the battle had left. Whereabouts unknown.
Quistis pushed slightly at the door and walked in. Selphie sat, legs crossed, staring out the window at the setting sun. She didn't bother to acknowledge the fact that Quistis had come to see her. The tall blond SeeD took a seat in a chair across from Selphie's bed. "Selphie? Would you like to talk about it?" The blond SeeD implored quietly.

Selphie didn't budge or say a word, but continued to gaze at the orange and pink sunset. Her curly hair remained straight and flat, her sunshine yellow dress was wrinkled and tattered. She still remained silent.
"Selphie," Quistis began slowly, "will you please talk to me?"
Selphie's face wrinkled up as more tears came streaming down her doll-like face. Her tired and sad eyes implied she hadn't had much sleep in a while. She buried her face in her hands and cried softly.
"Please," the blond SeeD attempted again. "Tell me what happened."
Selphie looked up angrily, "GO AWAY! NONE OF YOU EVEN TRIED! I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT! IT'S YOUR FAULT! YOUR FAULT..It's your fault..." She cried, hugging her legs against her.
Quistis sighed, "Selph-"
"NO! LEAVE! GET OUT!" Selphie screamed in rage and cried even harder.
Quistis's frown deepened as she left the room. As she leaned against the door, she heard Selphie's sobs. She decided to try again later, and give Selphie time to cool off.
Squall sat outside at the front gate starring off at the fields surround the garden. A cool, gentle breeze blew against him, calming him from the chaos of Balamb Gardens. He stared off at the peace of the fields. Nothing had been this calm for along time. Squall looked up to the sky where a flock of birds flew across the sky. He sighed. 'What happens next?' What were they supposed to do now? He shook his head and lifted himself. Slowly walking towards the garden, he thought about the battle with Yumenegau.
The whole ordeal made no sense. What was he after? What did they plan to do with Rinoa? Shrugging, Squall entered the garden, where he was quickly greeted by Quistis. "Selphie is talking again."
"..." The dark haired SeeD continued to walk.
"She thinks it's our fault. She's mad at me, she won't tell me what happened." Quistis stopped. "Was it our fault?"
Squall stopped and glanced at her, "..She's just upset.
"Maybe we shouldn't have left the Garden. Perhaps this was all planned." Quistis shook her head, frowning.
Squall looked down at the floor, "It didn't help us, leaving."
Quistis's eyebrow twitched, "What about Rinoa? How will we get her back?"
Squall turned his head to her, "Maybe we should just leave her. She can take care of herself. With those two, I doubt she's in any danger." With that, Squall left for the training center.
Rinoa smirked as the landed just outside of the city of Deling, "Father should be happy to see me." She laughed.
Yumenegau stopped the engines as the landed and powered the craft down. "So your going to Caraway? And what exactly are you gonna tell this guy?"
Rinoa's smile broadened, "I'll make it up as I go along... Don't worry I have it all covered. But first I hear Caraway is a very strong willed man-I mean he'd have to be to be the head of the Galbadian army- I have to get him to trust me. Rinoa hasn't been around her father a lot and I'm sure there not that close because of that. After I get his trust, I'll slowly take over his position. I will command the army to eliminate Balamb Gardens and Galbadian Gardens. Meanwhile you will take Xu and her followers to Esthar, you will work things out there and we will take control of that army as well."
"What about Trabia Garden?" the Squall look-a-like cast an accusing gaze on her.
The raven-haired girl shrugged, "They don't really pose as a threat... but we will destroy them just in case."
Yumenegau smiled sincerely, "Well, m'lady? Shall you introduce me to your father now?" he smiled playfully and Rinoa kicked him.
"Shut up."
