"Um..well... he saw one of his friends in the club so he stayed there... " he answered, hoping she'd bought it. He didn't like to lie but he couldn't tell her Nick had a date with the barmaid.
"Really?" she frowned.
"Yeah! Just when we were about to leave... he saw an old friend..." he repeated and shrugged.
"Okay... " she replied, staring out the window.

*** A few minutes later, in Brian's room ***
"Brian..what was that all about?" Mary asked when they entered in the room.
"What?"
"Duh...Nick!! What the hell is he doing?"
"I dunno... he said it's his business and that he knows what he is doing..." Brian shrugged.
"But ...I mean...it's discusting!" she hissed.
"Calm down baby... " he replied, stroking her back. "We'll see what will happen..."
"We both know what will happen..he'll hurt one or the other !" Mary sighed. "It's obvious!"
"Come on Mary... don't think that way. Maybe it didn't mean anything to Gaby...or maybe nothing will happen with Lexy!"
"Lexy?" she raised an eyebrow.
"The barmaid.."
"Do you really think nothing will happen? Come on Bri!" she chuckled. "You know how Nick is ..."
"Yeah...unfortunately!" he sighed with a little laugh. "Anyways.... we'll see tomorrow alright???"
"Yeah yeah..." she said with a sigh.
He grinned and kissed her passionately as he wrapped his arms around her.

"It's a lovely night.." Nick smiled as he opened the door for Lexy. She had changed into a pair of blue jeans and running shoes and had put a jeans jacket on her shoulders.
"Yeah! It's beautiful!" she replied, looking up at the dark sky full of little bright stars. "We can't usually see stars like that..." she remarked.
"Let's enjoy this night then!" Nick flirtly said as he stepped out of the club. They started walking in the streets silently...both not really knowing what to say to each other. "So...where is that name coming from? Lexy... that's unusual..."
"It's just some nickname that sticked...Keri started calling me Sexy Lexy at my first day at the club and she just never stopped..." she chuckled.
"That's cool! What's your real name then?" he asked.
"Wanna guess?" she smirked, knowing he would probably not find it.
"Um...Lexy... what could be that for? Alexis? Alexia?"
"Nope..."
"Tell me!"
"Marilyne.." she smiled.
"That's a nice name!" he replied, flashing one of his most beautiful smiles. "But I don't really see the bond with Lexy..."
"I don't either...you should ask Keri!" Marilyne laughed. She had a soft laugh that sounded like music to his ears.
"Alright!" he chuckled.
"And tell me a little about yourself... so you're a singer?"
"Yeah... " he simply answered.
"What music? Solo? Group? Give me some details!" she exclaimed with a soft laugh.
"In a group... The backstreet boys?!?" he said, looking at her to see if she had some sort of reactions.
"Oh really???" she replied wide eyes.
"Yeah..." he shyly said.
"Oh my God... Your songs are always playing in the club.." she laughed. "That's why I knew I had already seen you somewhere! But I couldn't tell where... probably in a mag..."
"Probably.." he shrugged. "If you don't watch tv..."
"Yeah...I think we don't even have channels at home..." she chuckled.
"I see! Well, sometimes it's better this way!"
"Yeah... defenitely!"
They continued their little walk in the dark night as they learned about each other. They walked all around the small neighborhood, filled with little appartement houses and small bungalows. At 4am, they arrived in front of Marilyne's place.
"That's my little house.." she chuckled a little ashame. She now knew he was a multimillionaire guy and she couldn't imagine what he was thinking as he looked at the old building. But she liked the way he was... so simple. Not one of those big-headed guy that were always praising themselves. He looked even ashame to be that much famous and everything. He was like a little kid and she liked it a lot.
"It looks nice. You're living there alone?"
"Nah..I'm living with Keri!"
"That's cool!" he smiled. "So.." he said after a little moment of silence.
"So..um... I had a nice time.." she smiled back.
"Me too... "
"When are you leaving ?"
"Only in a few days. We have the VMA's in two days... and some recording to do but I'll be in town for another week I think." he said.
"Well, if you have nothing to do or wanna hang out.. call me!" she sexily smiled as she put a piece of paper in his pocket.
"I will!" he replied and stared at her dark eyes shinning from the little light of the moon.
They stood there watching each other for a moment before she grinned mischeviously and got on tiptoe and pulled him closer by the shirt. She hungrily pushed her lips against his and he kissed her back. The kiss was soft at first but grew with passion as their tongues intertwined. Nick's hand roamed up and down on her back as her fingers massaged his neck and the hair on the back on his head.
"Good night.." she whispered in his ear when they broke apart. She started walking away and turned a last time and gave him a cute little smile. He smiled back and took his cell to call his bodyguard Billy who was waiting for him in a coffee shop not far from there. On his way to the hotel, the only thing he could remember was how good this kiss had felt and how cute Marilyne could be. She was very down to earth and contrary to the way she was acting at the club, she was kinda shy.
He stepped in the hotel a few minutes later. Everything was silent 'cause everyone was sleeping..
"Isn't that Lylian?" Billy asked him, pointing at someone sitting on one of the couches of the vast living room beside the restaurant. Nick turned and looked carefully.
"Yeah... that's her..." he frowned, wondering what she was doing there. "You can go sleep Bill..." he told his bodyguard.
"Don't fuck around too late man..if there's anything you call me alright?" Billy asked.
"Yeah yeah! Good night!" Nick answered, his eyes not leaving Lylian. She had hearphones on and her eyes were closed. She had a pad on her legs that were crossed on the couch. Her hair was up in a messy ponytail and she was wearing cotton grey pants and a white sweater. He quietly walked up behind her and grinned before to squeeze her shoulders what made her scream and jump.
"Are you crazy or what?" she asked with anger as she put an hand on her heart. "I almost had an heart attack!!"
"Sorry...it was too tempting!" he said before to crack up. "What are you doing up???" he added, sitting next to her.
"I couldn't sleep... " she replied as she took off the hearphones. "And I didn't want to wake up Gaby...she was sleeping with a smile on her face so I thought I should leave her with her sweet dreams!" she smiled.
"Oh you're too good!" Nick jocked.
"I know...I have such a big heart..." Lylian chuckled. "And what about you? What are you doing up?"
"I just came back..."
"From???"
"Um... I decided to stay to the club and take a walk after.." he said, looking at his hands.
"Okay!" she replied. "You look tired..you should go sleep.."
"Well, it's 4:30 am... you should be tired too!" he exclaimed.
"I slept...I went to bed at 10! and I woke up at 3 and I couldn't go back to sleep... but I'm starting to be tired again now.." she said with a yawn.
"What are you listening to?" he asked pointing at her hearphones.
"Oh... Get Another Boyfriend...I was thinking about the routine for the next video." (Author note: I know that song is not a single but in the story...it is! lol)
"At 4 am?"
"Yeah! Inspiration comes to me in the middle of the night...most of the time" she chuckled.
"So you could start dancing at 4 am???"
"Nah...I don't have enough energy!" she laughed. "But I think about some moves..and then I scribble it down on my pad and see what it looks like the next day!"
"That's pretty smart!"
"Oh well I am very smart mister!" she laughed.
"Oh yeah of course you are!" he smiled, staring at her with a grin.
"You never get ideas for some songs in the middle of the night?" she asked.
"Um...I usually sleep at night... but yeah sometimes it happens..." he shrugged.
"But you're too dumb to write it down on a piece of paper huh?" she grinned.
"Yeah...." he admit as she cracked up.
"Ah men..." she sighed with a soft laugh.
"Be careful with what you say..."
"Why?"
"Because I'm the master of tickling... Tickler Master!"
"Oh I'm scared!" she sarcastically said.
"You think I'm jocking? You're gonna pay for this baby!" he grinned before to start tickling her sides.
"Oh please...stop!!" she shrieked and laughed at the same time. "I hate to be tickled!!!"
"But you asked for it!!!" he giggled, not stoping.
"I did not!!!!" she screamed, moving all her body to get rid of his hands. She was now laying on her back and couldn't push him away because he was a lot more stronger and heavier than her.
"Say you're sorry..." he smirked.
"You're sorry!!" she repeated and laughed.
"Oh you're a little brat!!" he shouted before to tickle her even more.
"Aaaaahhhh!!" she screamed. "I can't breath!" she laughed.
"Ok..take a little break..." he said and stopped but stayed on top of her so she couldn't move..
"Damn..." she giggled, taking deep breaths. "You're so mean to me!"
"Nah... it's total love!" he grinned.
"Yeah right!" she laughed, rolling her eyes. "Release me now I'd like to go sleep!"
"Ooooh...no..." he pouted.
"Poor baby..." she chuckled. "Really..we should go sleep..."
"Um... I don't know..." he smirked and started tickling her again.
"Aaah Nick!!!" she screamed as she laughed and tried to push him away.
His hands slowly stopped but stayed on her waist. His face got closer to her and he couldn't resist and kissed her softly on the neck, at first and then her lips. She kissed him back, enjoying the feeling of being so close to someone. It has been a long while since she haven't kissed someone and ... she had to say that Nick was an amazing kisser. He slipped his tongue in her mouth as the kiss grew with passion. They finally broke apart when they were both out of breath. They stared at each other for a little while but Nick looked down has his hands as he moved away from her.
"Um..I should get to bed.." he finally spoke. He didn't know what was happening to himself. Again, like the last tour, he wanted to much things at the same time..and again, he would hurt someone. But he just couldn't help it... he was attracted to all those girls at the same time. He knew he could just ask her to come in his bedroom... but seeing her innocent and shy eyes, he knew he shouldn't.
"Yeah... me too..." Lylian shyly responded as she stood up. They went in the elevator, both quiet as they reach Lylian's floor. "Um...good night.." she smiled weakly, unable to look at him.
"Night..." he replied, playing with his hands. She stepped out of the elevator and when the doors closed, Nick let out a loud sigh. "What is happening to me?" he told himself.

*** The Next Morning ***
Lylian woke up, hearing the sound of the shower and someone humming. She knew it was Gaby's voice, she could reconize it anywhere. She wondered what time it was right now...could Gaby be up before herself? She had had a hard time getting back to sleep after sharing that amazing kiss with Nick. She didn't know what to think about it. Did it really mean something to him? She sighed and stared at the ceiling during a moment. She then turned on her side and looked at the time... it was noon.
"Damn.." she yawned.
"Hello you!" Gaby smiled as she stepped out of the bathroom, dressed up with a towel on her hair.
"Hey... what are you doing up that early?"
"Dunno... " she shrugged.
"Had a good night?"
"Yeah, really good!" she smiled. "What about you?"
"Same thing! Had a good time at the club?"
"Yup! It was cool!" Gaby replied, remembering the last minutes she was there, in Nick's arms. She knew she was usually telling her friend everything but she just couldn't right now because she was feeling a little guilty. She had pushed her and told her friend that she should date Nick...and now she was the one who was flirting with him. She knew she'd have to fix that soon. "At what time are we leaving?" she asked.
"I think we have to be there at 3 o'clock so...since we're not in New York...we're probably leaving at 2 or something.." Lylian said as she started getting dressed.
"Alright! Wanna go eat something?"
"Yeah, I'm starving!"
"Let's go !!!" Gaby cheered as the two friend walked out of the bedroom. They waited for the elevator exchanging a few words, both having a lot of thoughts in their mind.

*** Meanwhile ***
Nick walked out of his bedroom, his brain full of mixed up thoughts. He remembered what he had done the last night, of course, but now he was feeling weird about it. On one hand, he was feeling bad about it and on another hand, he was like proud. He knew he should not feel that way but ...he was a man. He stepped in the elevator, wondering how he was going to act with Gaby and Lylian now... the elevator stopped at the 4th floor and his heart suddently started beating faster. The doors opened to reveal what he was so scared of.
"Hey Nick!!" the two girls said when they saw him.
"Um..Hey.." he replied, feeling really uncomfortable.
"How are you doing?" Gaby asked, all smile.
"Good...what about you?" he managed a smile.
"Pretty good too!!" she happily replied.
"That's great... and you?" he turned to Lylian who blushed.
"Great.." she shyly responded, looking at the floor.
"Cool.." he said and sighed when the doors finally opened again to the first floor. "Well...I'll see you girls later..." he told them and fastly walked away when he saw Brian and Aj chatting together in the lobby.
"See ya..." Gaby said, frowning. 'What's happening to him?' she thought.
"Hey guys!" Nick cheered, looking behind him to make sure the girls were away.
"Hey!! How did it go yesterday????" Aj asked hurriedly.
"Cool... it was very cool!" he smiled
"What did you do??"
"We just walked and talked.."
"Yeah right..." Brian laughed.
"Really..well, she kissed me but... nothing more.." he shrugged.
"Aw, poor guy!" Brian jocked.
"And Keri???" Aj asked.
"What Keri?"
"Well...you saw her? Talked to her?"
"Nah.. well yeah a little but I learned that she's 26 and she and Lexy lived together in this little appartement..."
"Do you know if she has a boyfriend???"
"Geez Aj...calm down! why do you care anyways?" Nick asked.
"I wanna know...does she have a boyfriend???" he repeated.
"I don't think so... happy??"
"Yeah..." he smiled.
"And what about Gaby?" Brian asked.
"Yeah man, what was that about?" Aj added.
"I don't know...." he paused. "And you know what's the worst?"
"What??" Aj asked.
"I also kissed Lylian last night..." he said staring at his hands with a little smile.
"What?!!?!?!?!?!?!" they both screamed in shock.
"When I came back..."
"How come?" Brian frowned.
"I dunno...she was right here, in the lobby listening to music because she couldn't sleep and didn't want to wake Gaby up so...we talked a little and well...it just happened..."
"Wawawait!!!" Aj laughed. "You did 3 girls within like what... 4 hours???"
"Yeah..." Nick chuckled.
"Waa Nicky is a playa!!!" Aj laughed again, patting his friend on a shoulder.
"Nick... what are you gonna do about that? You can't just kiss them all and then act like nothing happened..." Brian seriously said.
"I can't believe this.. you're a pig you know that?" Aj continued to giggle.
"Ok Aj stop it.." Brian snapped. "It's serious... it's gonna be like the last tour and you'll hurt people Nick.. and Kevin is so gonna kick you ass if he learns this!"
"Aah Brian, don't be dumb! I'm sure the girls didn't take it like a big love sign... it was a simple kiss... " Aj said. "They didn't take it seriously.."
"We'll see but... be careful...especially with Gaby man..she's still young..."
"Yeah yeah.." Nick sighed. "I'll fix things up if they have to be... But just don't tell Kevin about that please..."
"Woou Nicky's got them all!" Aj shouted as they all giggled. "But hey man...did Lexy give you her phone number???"
"Yeah...why?"
"Oh come on! Invite her and Keri!!"
"Where? We have to leave in 2 hours and we don't even know when we'll come back..." Nick frowned.
"I dunno... but I have to see her..." Aj said. "Maybe we could ask them to come to the rehearsal?"
"What??" Brian exclaimed. "You crazy? They'll never allow us to bring that much people..."
"All the crew is already coming... 2 person more.. What does it change?" Aj shrugged. "Gaby is coming...and she's not a member of the crew..."
"That's the not same thing...she's Lylian's friend."
"So what? Lexy is my friend...I can ask her to come if I want to.." Nick replied.
"Nicky's right!" Aj shouted.
"And what's your excuse for asking Keri?" Brian laughed. "She always turn you down!"
"No... but come on guys! Come on Nick ask them!! We'll be back for dinner so they'll be okay to go to the club!!"
"You should tell Kevin before you call her... " Brian said.
"I can't ask him that..." Nick sighed. "Do you really think he will want us to bring some barmaids to the rehearsal of the VMA's???"
"If you just say it's some friends...and If someone he trust and is close to ask him..." Aj turned to Brian with a smirk.
"What???" Brian exclaimed. "No way I'm doing this!! You're the two obsessed, not me!"
"Yeah but I'll ask him...and you two support me!" Nick pleaded. Brian stared at them for a moment, not believing how crazy could be people sometimes.
"All right.." he gave up with a sighed. "But if he gets mad, I'm outta here!"
"Thank you Rok!!!" Aj bounced happily. "Let's go ask him now so you can call Lexy to ask her!"
With that, the three friends made their way to Kevin and Vickie's room. Nick asked him if he could bring a friend of him to the rehersal, without mentionning Lexy's name and to everyone's surpise, he said there was not a problem.
"And hum...could she bring one of her friend?" Nick asked nervously.
"She???" Kevin frowned. "Who are you talking about Nick?"
"A friend..."
"Who?"
"Her name is um.. Marilyne." he said. "You don't know her..."
"I see..." he replied, sceptical. "Well only those two...no one else alright?"
"Yeah sure...thanks!" he smiled. He actually wondered why he was asking Kevin..he was not his father... but on tour, it was that way, they were always asking him for anything. "Ok well... see ya later!"
"Yeah, at 2 o'clock in the parking lot... make sure your friends are there because we don't wanna be late..." Kevin warned.
"Yep! Thanks Kev! Bye Vick!" he replied as he, Aj and Brian stepped out of the room.
"That was weird..." Vickie giggled when they were gone.
"Why?"
"I dunno.. Nick was looking nervous and the two others were just standing there..."
"Yeah...I wonder what they are planning... Anyways..we'll see I guess.." he shrugged.
"Do you think they could have ask those two barmaids to come?" Vickie asked after a moment of silence.
"What???" Kevin shouted turning to her.
"It's only a question... " she laughed.
"They would not do that......would they?" he asked, frowning.
"I don't know... don't worry baby, I'm sure it's gonna be ok!" she chuckled before to kiss him.

Keri was sleeping peacefully in her double size when the phone rang loudly beside her. She groaned, hoping it would stop but knowing full-well Lexy wouldn't anwer because absolutely nothing could wake her up, she streched her arms and took the receiver.
"Yeah?" she grumpily answered.
"Hey, is Lexy there?" a voice she didn't reconize asked.
"She's still sleeping..." Keri replied, her eyes half closed. "So was I..."
"Oh...I'm really sorry I didn't want to wake you up!"
"Who's this?"
"Nick... "
"Ooh blondie babe.." Keri giggled. "Can you wait a few minutes? I'll try to wake her up.."
"Yeah...thanks.." Nick said shyly.
Keri put the receiver beside the phone and tried her best to stand up. She walked up to Marilyne's bedroom, rubbing her eyes.
"Lexy!!! Phone for ya!!" she shouted as she entered in the small room.
"Huh.." was the only noise she heard back.
"Lexy... your blondie babe Nick is on the line!!!!" she sang.
"What??" Marilyne suddently sat straight up as Keri laughed.
"Yeah... Nick on the phone for ya!" she repeated with a smile.
"Holy shit!" she replied and turned to take the phone that was on the little table next to her bed. Keri watched her with amusement and walked out of the room to hang up the other phone. "Hi?!" Marilyne said when she took the phone.
"Hey Lexy?" Nick said.
"Yeah that's me! Hey Nick! What's up?"
"Well actually, I was calling you to know if you had anything planned for this afternoon..." Nick asked.
"Um...no. Had something in mind?" she grinned.
"Yeah! As I told you yesterday, we have the rehearsal for the VMA's today and well I wondered if you you'd like to come with us... " he said.
"And Keri too!!!" Lexy heard a voice in background.
"Who was that?" she laughed.
"Oh that's Aj... and yes, if Keri would like to come, it'd be cool..."
"To the VMA's rehearsal????" Keri's voice shouted in the phone. "I'm in!!"
"KERI!!!!" Lexy screamed. "Hang up!!"
"We want to go! What time and where??" Keri asked excitely.
"Aarrrg Keri hang up!!" Lexy repeated as Nick giggled.
"Ok listen ... do you think you could be at our hotel... for 2 ??" Nick asked. "We have to leave at 2 so if you could be there a little while before..."
"Yeah no problem! We'll be there!" Keri said and hung up as Marilyne sighed with annoyance.
"Sorry 'bout that.." she chuckled.
"It's okay!" he smiled and gave her the name of the hotel.
"You sure we can come?" she asked.
"Yeah no problem!" he replied. "So...I'll see ya later?"
"Yep! Well I should go get ready now... see ya!" she sweetly said.
"Alright! Bye!" he hung up.
"So??" Aj asked hurriedly.
"They are coming!" Nick answered.
"Let's go get ready then!!!" Aj shouted and ran to his room.
"He's crazy... what will Katya think about all this?" Brian thought out loud.
"Who cares.." Nick shrugged with a smile.
"But hey Nick... don't you think you should talk to the other girls...I mean, what will they think when they'll see you coming in with this girl???" Brian asked him as they walked to the elevator.
"Oh shit...that's right..." Nick smacked his forehead.
"You can be so dumb sometimes you know that?"
"Yeah thanks for reminding me!" he rolled his eyes.
"There you are Brian!" they heard a voice behind them as they stepped out of the elevator.
"Hey baby!" Brian smiled widely to his girlfriend. "I'm sorry, Nick and Aj kidnapped me!"
"You freak! You're torturing my baby!!!" she turned to Nick with a fake angry look.
"Sorry..." Nick laughed. "Anyways, I'll see you guys later! I gotta go get ready!"
"See ya! And think about what you're gonna do man... " Brian seriously said.
"Yeah yeah! Bye!" he replied, entering in his room.
"What did he do?" Mary asked Brian as they walked to their bedroom. Brian let out a loud sigh and proceed to tell her what he had done the night before and that he had invited Keri and Lexy to the rehearsal.
"He did what???" she shrieked as Brian stripped in his boxers to change.
"He invited them... " he repeated.
"How can he play with their feelings like this?" Mary said, not believing her ears.
"I dunno, but I hope he'll handle this well because I don't want Lylian to leave because of him... "
"You're right. She's very talented... " Mary sighed. "Anyways, we'll see!" she added and stared at him with a grin. He had no shirt on and was only in his boxers.
"Why are you grinning like this?" he asked, walked toward her.
"I dunno... maybe because you look incredibly hot!" she giggled.
"Do I?" he raised an eyebrow.
"Oh yeah..." she grinned and pulled him closer to her.

*** Meanwhile, in Aj's room ***
"Hey baby!" Katya smiled when Aj entered in the room. She looking like a little kid, laying lazily on the bed, watching some cartoons.
"Oh! Hey sweetie!" he half smiled. "How are you doing?"
"Great. What 'bout you?"
"Good! You coming to the rehearsal?" he asked.
"Yeah sure! I wouldn't miss that!" she happily said. "Had a nice time at the club yesterday night?"
"Yeah was fun... how was your meeting?" he layed next to her.
"Oh well... nothing very special. We just decided wich songs are gonna be on the record and usual stuff... " she shrugged.
"Did you stay late? You didn't come to the club as you said.." he remarked, happy about it though.
"Yeah well it was a long meeting and I was too tired to go dancing..."
"I see!" he said.
"Missed me?" she grinned, wrapping her arms around his waist.
"Yeah..." he lied. But it seemed he was a good actor because she started kissing him passionately.
"At what time are we leaving?" she asked between two kisses.
"Mmm... 2..." he smiled, not stopping to kiss her.
