episode 6: time bomb

"Good work, Jedite.  Now we have Sailor Mercury to contend with." shouts Beryl.
"I've got a plan," counters Jedite. "Humans expend huge amounts of energy when they're under stress or pressed for time.  So, my idea is to speed up the process and double their energy output.  We've already got everything in place.  We're ready to go, Queen Beryl.""
"Excellent.  Proceed immediately."

"Me and my friend Amy went to the mall today," says Serena. Her voice is dubbed over pictures of them shopping. "We went to all the stores, even a bookstore! Amy's choice, of course..." The voice part ends, and Serena sees a crowd in front of a clock store.
"I can't go on, Serena, I'm not an experianced mall-troller like you," says Amy.
Serena says, "Just this one store, and then we'll go home!" She drags Amy along...

Inside, they see lots of watches, beautiful ones. "When I'm rich, I'll get one of these!" says Serena.
Amy remarks that Serena needs an alarm clock. "The first thing they told me at school is that you're always late." So they look around and then see a cool clock of a blact cat.
"That looks just like Luna!" shouts Serena.
A pretty woman walks up to them. "You want that? For you, it's 90 percent off." Serena opens her wallet - but she only has 10 yen! "I spent it all on comic books!"
Amy says, "I'll just come for you in the morning!" "You're my best friend, Amy!..."

Serena gets home, and her mother has a suprise for her -
"The alarm clokc I wanted!"
Her mom says, "I got one for your dad too, to get him awake! Doesn't it look just like Luna?"...
"It doesn't look a thing like me!" remarks Luna.

Luna and Serena are in Serena's room.
"Does it even work?"
"Sure it does, Luna! I'm going to sleep." Serena lays in bed.
"It has an evil look you know," says Luna.
Yawning, Serena laughs, "You're just jealous."
"Of that thing!?..."

But at midnight, a soft green light appears from the face of the clock. It hits Serena. Luna wakes up and sees this. "I knew it was bad! This clock has to go!" In her mom and dad's room, their clock too hits them with light...

"Hi, is Serena there? I'm supposed to pick her up," says Amy. She is at Serena's door, talking to her mom. "No, I'm afraid she wanted to get an early start. She left an hour ago in fact!"
Her dad runs out with food hanging from his mouth. "I'm in a rush love you honey gotta go!"
Her mom says to Amy, "Nice talking to you, but I have cleaning mnding sewing bye now!"
Amy thinks, "The whole family's gone nuts!..."

In school, Serena shouts at her teacher, "Can't we start yet?"
Miss H is pacing around, looking at her watch. "We should wait a few more minutes."
Molly shouts, "I'm gonna be late if we don't start soon!"
Miss H says, "I know we all lead busy lives! But I have four dinner dates tonight, so class is dismissed." Melvin runs up to Molly and Serena and says, "Ho!  Hey, I've got a brilliant idea.  One of you should hurry up and say you'll go steady with me for the rest of the year"
"Get a life Melvin! Who has time for boyfriends anymore?" All the students get up to leave...

There is an accident downtown. The people involved get out of their cars, saying how late they'll be. Huge white energy waves emenate from the city. Jedite looks at the collected energy and laughs...

Amy walks downtown. Everyone around her is moving fast, in a rush, when Luna comes up to her. She has the alarm clock strapped to her back. "Hi Luna!"
"Amy, I need to talk to you!"...they get to a bench.
"And you think the Negaverse is behind this?" asks Amy.
Luna says, "Only one way to know for sure." She does a flip and produces a calculator type thing with the Mercury symbol on the front! "This is your super-data computer. With it you can analyze anything! Just point it at the clock."
Amy opens up the clock - and a green ball flies out of it! "What WAS that?" asks Amy.
"I don't know.  It was too fast for the computer, but, somehow, it's affecting time.  Have you noticed how everyone's in a rush today?  I mean, even Serena got up early . . . TWO HOURS EARLY!""...

Serena, along with a heapload of others, are on a bus. "Come on already, I need to get home!" she shouts. A woman presses the button for the driver to stop. "I don't have time for this!" she shouts. "Stop now!"
The driver says, "I'll stop when I'm good and ready!"  As the bus tears through downtown .

Amy walks out of the phone booth. "Still no luck.  Serena's nowhere to be found," says Amy. "We could try the comic shop again, or maybe we should go to the clock store!" But then she sees something - the bus crashes into a hydrant!
Everyone gets off in a huff, including Serena who says, 'You're the worst driver I've ever seen! I'm going to report you!" Amy stops her and calls out her name. "Amy! What are you doing here?"...

They are in front of the clock store. "We should go in!" shouts Serena. Luna says, "We need a plan first." Amy suggests that they go through the cooling vents. But Serena is extremely impatient. "I don't have time for this! Come on Amy! MOON PRISM POWER!" And she transforms. Moon says to Amy, "Come on, what are you waiting for?" "Yes, what ARE we waiting for?  I'm tired of planning everything. MERCURY POWER!" The Mercury Power Stick goes into action, transforming Amy into Sailor Mercury

"CHARGE!  Moon Tiara MAGIC!" The tiara breaks through the door, and the girls race in. Luna follows them, but the hole closes in front of her, and she crashes into it!.

The Sailor Scouts find the giant clock . . . and Reno�r  "Surrender while you can! I am Sailor Moon!"
"And I am Sailor Mercury!"
"We are the champions of justice!"
The woman from before turns around and says, "You don't scare me. Turn to MIDNIGHT!" The main clock inside strikes 12, and she turns into a NegaMonster! The clock face glows, and the monster flys in. "Follow me if you dare." The Sailor Scouts charge into the portal . . . and into the unknown.)

Inside, Merucry tries to figure out where they are. The monster taunts them. "I'll just follow the sound of your voice!" shouts Sailor Moon.
"Wait! Let's analyze this thing,"says Mercury. She pulls out her computer.
"Where'd you get that?"
"Luna gave it to me!"
"Well, I'll look around while you mess with it."
They run towards the sight...Sailor Mercury notices.  Sailor Moon is getting younger!  She's becoming a small child!  Fortunately, when Sailor Mercury pulls her away, she returns to normal.  Mercury tells Sailor Moon, "I'm not sure how she's doing this, but she's controlling time.  She can make it go forwards or backwards.  Anything she wants."
Sailor Moon imagines herself as an old woman saying, "I am Shailor Moon, the grandmudder o' justish."

Meanwhile, someone has entered the clock store: Tuxedo Mask leaps into the building. "I know they're close by."

"Hold on.  I'm getting close," Mercury says, "Yes.  We need to go north-northeast, which is . . .� She points in the right direction.
The two head north-northeast.  They soon find Reno�r. Moon charges.  Then, suddenly, she stops and drops to the ground.  She's been frozen in time! Mercury says, "We're in trouble..." She blasts a ray at Sailor Mercury, draining her energy, too.

In the main room, Tuxedo Mask hears something. It is comng from within the clock! Quickly thinking, he shoots a rose at the clock face, breaking the glass...

"What's happening!?" shouts the monster. They were freed.
"Hey!  I can move again!" Mercury Bubbles Blast!" The fog covers the scene so that the monster can't see. It's Moon's turn.
"Moon Tiara MAGIC!" The monster is turned to dust...

Outside, where Luna waits, Amy and Serena appear. "You did it!" "Yeah, we really did!"...they walk outside. "I don't ever wanna see another alarm clock.  You know?  I might even give up shopping . . .� says Serena. Molly runs up to them. "Serena, Amy, there's a huge shoe sale at the mall! Come on!" Serena follows, but trips.  She ends up on the sidewalk crying.
Luna comments, "Oh well.  I knew it would never last.  Serena is Serena."
Amy agrees, "Yes, that's for sure."
