episode 2: talk radio

    In the Negaverse, Queen Beryl summons Jedite. "Queen, I have found a new source of energy. Human have an emotion they call 'love'. I have already sent out a servant, Fro, to collect it."
     Beryl nods in approval. "But you had better not fail me like last time..."

Meanwhile, it is midnight, and Serena is up, listening to a radio show. "Welcome to the Love Line," says a deep-voiced announcer. "Tonight's show features a letter to a secret admirer from 'Hopeful Haruna'."
     Serena shouts, "My teacher? No way!" Molly, listening in her house, does the same thing. Miss Haruna, meanwhile, jumps up and down in excitement...
      "Remember, if your letter is read, you win a romantic prize!"
     Luna comes in and listens, then says, "There are most important things to do, like be a Scout!" Serena groans and says,
     "Party pooper," then goes to sleep...

     Serena wakes up late and runs to school, hoping she won't be late. In the classroom, the kids notices that the teacher, Miss Haruna, is late. "Maybe we'll get a sub!" But Miss H walks in - and trips over her desk, yawning! She is weaing a pretty red flower...and it drains her energy!
     Tiredly, she says, "OK class, whoever isn't present raise your hands, do chapters 1-35 in any book you want..." she falls asleep on the desk, snoring.
     "Maybe we should call the nurse!" says Molly.
     Serena laughs, "No, it's more fun to watch her snore!"

Luna, meanwhile, is downtown at the Crown Game Center. A tall boy with blonde hair walks out. Luna thinks, "This is the boy that Serena likes!"
     The boy says, "Hi Luna! What are you doing here?" He pets her and goes back inside.
      Luna says, "This Game Center is a good place for communication! Close to school and all..."

     Molly and Serena are walking home. "It would be so wicked cool to get a letter read on 'Love Line'!" says Molly.
     Serena says, "But you don't have a boyfriend!"
     "I'll make one up!"
     "That would be so wicked cool!..."But Serena bumps into someone and falls.
     "Oh hi Darien," says Molly. Serena looks up to see him laughing at her.
      "What did you say was 'wicked cool', Meatball Head?"
      Serena groaned. "STOP CALLING ME THAT!" He walks away. "You're a jerk Darien, a real jerk!"...

      That night, in FM Station 10, the station mamager looks at fan mail. "What is with this 'Love Line' mail? We don't even carry that show!"
     A woman walks in. "I am here about 'Love Line'," she says.
     "Good!" says the man. The woman smiles and laughs evilly!...

     Serena gets home from school and immediately sets down with a pen and paper. "This has got to be perfect...I got it! I'll go to 'Love Line' personally! Come on Luna!" And they go...
     "For the thousandth time, there is no 'Love Line'!" says a guard. Serena and Luna walk away from FM Station 10. "I could've sworn it was that station!..."

     That midnight, a letter is read on 'Love Line' - Molly's! So the next day, Molly comes in happily and taks to the other girls. Serena notices that she is wearing a flower just like Miss H's! And suddenly, it begins to drain her energy..."So...tired..." Molly falls asleep sitting up.
     Serena leans in to try to wake her up, but it begins to drain her energy too! They both are now asleep. "We have to call the nurse!..."

     Serena is dreaming. She is flying in the sky, across the moon, when she sees someone. "Who's there?" The figure turns around. "Tuxedo Mask! Do you want to go out?"
     "Of course, Sailor Moon."
     Serena jumps up and down - "YES YES YES! Will you tell me who you are?" He begins to take off the mask...
     "WAKE UP SERENA!" shouts Luna.
     Serena jumps up, awakened and frightened. "What happened, Luna?"
      Luna explains. "It's the Negaverse! They are using the flowers to get energy!"...

     That night, both stay up to see if 'Love Line' was on. It was - on FM Station 10! In the radio studio, all the people are asleep, except for the woman and the announcer. "Queen Beryl will be pleased!" Inside, we see the face of the announcer - it is Jedite!...

     Serena and Luna rush over to the station. "Oh no, it is that guard. How can I get past him without him recognizing me?" whines Serena.
     Luna says, "I got it!" Luna jumps and does a flip, and a pen appears. It is pink with a jewel on top. "This is a transforming device. Hold it up, say "Disguise Power", and say what you want to turn in to."
     Serena is thrilled - "I love this!...Disguise POWER! Turn me into a...sophisticated talent agent!" The jewel glows, and little white beams surround her, she comes out of it wearing a miniskirt and heels, and she now has short blonde hair. "This is awesome!" Just then, Serena loses her balance and falls backward

     In the studio, Jedite is reading another letter on The Love Line.  Serena and Luna look into the studio's control room.  The entire crew is asleep. "Wow, this is my kind of job.  Can't beat that.  They're all sleeping."
     Luna takes a look . . . and is VERY concerned. It's the Negaverse!  I can feel it's evil energy!"
     "Let's go!" So she runs in, past the woman, and into the studio. She goes up to the mike and shouts, "Listen! Don't listen to this show! And burn the flowers, they are dangerous! Listen, ladies!"
     But Jedite says, "This show is over. Get her!" The woman turns around - and is now his servant, Fro! She shoots energy out of her mouth! Serena and Luna run, dodging attacks...

     "Sailor Moon would be good right now!" shouts Luna.
     "Ok. Moon Prism POWER! And make it FAST!" yells Serena. Through the long transformation sequence, Serena again becomes Sailor Moon...she appears to Jedite and Fro. "I am Sailor Moon! And on behalf of the moon I will punish you!"
     Jedite laughs. "Is that all? Pretty speeches?" To Fro, he says, "Go after her!" Fro shoots more energy out of her mouth, and Sailor Moon dodges more attacks, when Fro shoots a hole out of the roof. Moon and Luna jump through. Fro follows... she is being shot at.
     Luna screams, "Try your tiara!"
     "Moon Tiara MAGIC!" The glowing discus, however, misses the enemy! But she isn't finished.  She calls it back . . "...MAGIC!" the tiara goes back and hits the monster...and she is turned to dust! She turns to Jedite. "It's your turn! Moon Tiara Magic!"
He calls forth his Negaverse powers and stops the Tiara cold before it even gets halfway, to Sailor Moon's disbelief.
"AAAH!  YOU CAN'T DO THAT!  It's supposed to work every time."  Sailor Moon decides to kick, but he stops her. "Luna, I don't know how to beat him!" He starts to walk to her...

when a rose interupts! "Tuxedo Mask! Thank you," SailorMoon says. But Jedite is gone...

The next morning, Molly and Miss H are awake. Haruna comes into school, saying, "I'm so glad to see your happy faces!" Meanwhile, Serena is writing a love letter to Tuxedo Mask! Molly takes it and runs with it. Serena chases it, saying it's her homework. Miss H, shocked that Serena would ever do homework, runs after her as well...
