Music

I love music.  Music has been a big part of my life.  I have met many different people, have learned a lot of different things, and most of all, have had a lot of fun through my involvement with music.

Musicals
Soundtracks
Classical Composers
A Capella Groups

Musicals

Some that I listen to a lot or just here and there --
Jekyll & Hyde
The Scarlet Pimpernel
My Fair Lady
Miss Saigon
Les Miserables
The Sound of Music (I am sixteen, going on seventeen...)
Phantom of the Opera
West Side Story
Grease (Now that it's been made into a musical...)
Working (This one is actually interesting.  I wouldn't have been exposed to it if not for the drama teacher at my high school back then.)

I probably have hread a bunch more, but I can't list everything that I have heard here and bore people to death right? =)

Ones that I've seen--
Les Miserables (I would say this is probably my favorite. I first saw it in 1992.)
Phantom of the Opera (I've seen this one 3 times! If only I can see Michael Crawford as phantom...)
Miss Saigon
Chicago
Rent
Fosse
Mama Mia!
Chorus Line
(Certainly need to add more to this list...)

Soundtracks

Aladdin (1992)
Beaches (1988)
Beauty and the Beast (1991)
Forrest Gump (1994)
The Lion King (1994)
The Little Mermaid (1989)
Mary Poppins (1964)
Saturday Night Fever (1995)

Classical Composers

Some of the composers I like--
Chopin
Claude Debussy
Mozart

A Capella Groups

Rockapella (My favorite group! Anybody who hasn't been to their concert just has to go.)
House Jacks (Who else can do audience request like the Jacks?)
Toxic Audio
The Alley Cats
Urban Harmony South Bay Chorus (Just a shameless self-promotion)
