Frogs or Toads?
A WebQuest for 2nd grade

Introduction
Your team just found an amphibian on the playground. You and your teammates will need to help the amphibian figure out if it is a frog or a toad, so it can join its family. The little thing is alone. Will you be able to help it? Good Luck on your search!
Task
You and your teammates must learn how frogs and toads are alike and differenent in order to help the amphibian figure out where it belongs. Your team will  create a poster to post around the neighborhood. The poster will describe the amphibian and hopefully help it get home.
Process

1. First, watch the video:
Junior Zoologist: Amphibians

2. Next, view the websites in the resources section.

3. Use the information from the video and the website to complete the following worksheets.
              Frog and Toad Comparison Chart
              Frogs and Toads??

4. Review the information with your teammates.

5. Put the information on a Venn diagram to be displayed.

6. Use Microsoft Word to create a poster with a picture of your amphibian, and four complete sentences that describe it. Hopefully its family will see it.

7. Good Luck!
Evaluation

You and your teammate with complete a self assessment rubric.

You will receive an individual grade from a teacher rubric.
Conclusion

WOW! You did it! You compared and contrasted frogs and toads and found your amphibian a home.
