| First things first. I'm sure a lot of you are scratching yours heads and saying, why is Chris' son's name spelled differently than his. The short answer is that I've been spelling my name wrong my whole life. Actually, my name is spelled Cristian Francisco Navas on my birth certificate, but when I was enrolled in grammar school, the nuns at Saint Francis Xavier school decided to correct my mom and dad's spelling and put 'Christian' on all of my official school papers. My parents, for some odd reason, never brought it to anyone's attention. And so I've been using it ever since. Hell, my name has been mis-spelled on everything from my passport, Social Security Card, driver's license, official school transcripts, tax forms, etc. Anyway once we found out we were having a boy we decided he would have my name. So now I'm in the process of going back and changing my name on all of my official records, which is just about as big a pain in the ass as it sounds. But enough about me, let's talk about my son and what his arrival has done to our little family. What can I say about this little guy. He's perfect. I mean it. He's cute, and chubby, and doesn't really cry that much , and is a great little alarm clock. He gets up at 2 AM and 5 AM every morning just to make sure that Melisa and I haven't forgotten about him. And boy can he eat. He was born at 9 pounds and 8 ounces and at his 1st month check-up was tipping the scales at 11 and a half pounds. But that just means there's more of him to lug...I mean love. Anyway aside from eating and sleeping and filling up his diapers, he's really not doing much of anything else at this time. And that's fine by us, because we kinda have our hands full trying to keep up with Carina. Speaking of the Cris' Big Sister, she's really adapting quite well to the whole situation. She's always trying to get a peak at the little guy and constantly points out where his feet are. She gives him kisses and hugs, especially before she goes to sleep, and when he cries she tries to calm him down by singing the ABC song. Anyway now for the good stuff.
