In launching a highly sophisticated Breast Health Center, their goal is to ease the anxiety that many women feel when it comes to mammograms, breast biopsies and related diagnostic testing. The new center provides a warm, comfortable setting where women receive highly personalized attention from a team of experts.  It is designed with a focus on rich tones, luxurious fabrics and soothing water features to provide a peaceful environment of care.  They have state of the art digital screening and diagnostic mammography.  They take most medical insurance companies but when calling, ask if your insurance is accepted.

I, your online editor, Robin (N. Village) found out about this center when I called Princeton Medical Center for my annual mammography.  I was asked if I would like to "try them out" and I saw no reason not too.  I called for an appointment and was pleasantly surprised that I did not have to wait months to get one.  I went with hesitation and anticipation as I would imagine most women would, but when I got there I was very impressed.  The atmosphere was comforting and the staff very polite and helpful.  This center is one of the first to have a foam insert that makes one not feel  so "squashed" after the procedure is done.  Also I was able to receive same-day results prior to leaving the center.  This way one is not tortured waiting a week or so for the results.  Results are sent to your doctor and you can discuss your options, if needed.  I suggest you go to the website provided and read more about them.  Just so you know from Princeton Walk it took me about 15 minutes to get there.

If you know of anything (free) going on around our town, please email Robin and we will post it here.
