My name is Dan Marsh, i'm Fourteen years of age and reside in Kent, England.
My father used to watch it, He introduced me to it at a young age, I think it was while he was trying to find me a hobby that woulden't cost him a lot of money from a merchandise standpoint, because after all, those Thomas the Tank Engine dolls were pretty expensive! ; After trying many other 'sports' including lots of Japanese type events, which included a particular one I almost settled on where there are two guys in a square and the square has ropes, when in a submission hold they can either fight out of the hold or get to the rope to break, however getting to the rope cost them 1 point. Submitting cost 3. However, I settled quite happily on what is now known as the WWE, Back then it was mainly an American phenomenon, and merchandise wasn't easily accessable around here so I guess it suited me and my parent's wallets. Little did they know that the industry would boom into what it is today! - If they did i'm sure they'd have kept me on Thomas the Tank Engine!
Let me see, my EzBoard account was made in February 2001, I was lurking around for a couple of months before then while playing the game, and only registered with EzBoard initially to ask about my runtime error! ; I would say that roughly December 2000 to Early 2001 was when I first played the game, Promotion Wars.
I have completed a scenario before, but it was so long ago that I can't recall how long it took me. I'm talking about well over a year ago here, so excuse my memory, or lack there-of. I do remember what it was about though, it was on Disney Vs Warner Brothers. Unfortunatly I have lost it now, due to it being stored on my old computer and I cannot find it anywhere. I wish I could.
Would I still be here if I wasn't? - Of course I am.
Promotion Wars and Extreme Warfare are my two favourite sims, I really coulden't choose one over the other as they both have the power to entertain me, and thats all that matters really. The more sims of these calibre the better in my opinion, and I hope there are more sims like these that are released, for the sole purpose that I like to play them!!
