One of the many PWP training sessions our Board Members attended.

During the sessions many of the children (this included a few "older ones" who were supervising) enjoyed the heated indoor pool at the Auburn Holiday Inn.

To finish the busy weekend we had 37 adults come out to Magruder's General meeting on Feb. 24th to here Kathy Ann Maiorana, a Professional family Counselor, speak and take questions on family communication concerns from our group. We also had a $398.00 winner in our progressive raffle!

April Hamlin, our Chapter Member and Zone Family and Youth Representative, helps to hand out the PWP oganizational charts that are covered in the opening session. There were 45 members from all over the region, 18 of which were members from our own Chapter #006. I want to express my graditude for all of the members from our group who took the time and made the effort to be a part of this training. It makes me proud to be a part of this group. |

Getting ready to attend individual sessions are our own members, Craig, Betty, Richard and Dawn (facing away). There were a total of 12 different sessions being offered and at least one person from our group attended each and every session.
|
The individual PWP training sessions were an hour and a half each and started after the general session ended at 10:30, we took lunch at noon and had more individual sessions in the afternoon.
The reviews on the presentations, from many of the people in attendance were very positive saying that they learned many things that they could bring back to the chapters.
Many new friends were also made. |
