| The A-1 Auto & Spring #54 Late Model qualified a stunning 7th fastest at the Midvale Fall Classic Cavalcade in September. After 50 hard laps, Paul finished 3rd among a star-studded field of drivers featuring Mike Miller, Marcus Malcuit, Rick Groetsch, Brian Volk, Dave Wagner, Don Harvey Jr., Bob Sibila, Bob Gainer, Oliver Allen, and "The Farmer" Tom Smith. | ||||||||||||
| Paul led laps 5 through 31 of the Mansfield Speedway Clash for Cash 50 Lap Cavalcade Event before getting spun out. The track officials implemented the "Spinner-Spinnee" rule which sends both parties involved to the rear of the field for bringing out the caution. Coming from the back of the field and running only 6th with 6 laps to go, Paul and the Allied Auto #54 Late Model managed to work their way back up to 3rd place before the checkered flag flew to finish the season on a good note. | ||||||||||||
