)When did you start your pro wrestling career?
1967

2)What made you want to become a professional wrestler?

I loved watching TV in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania when I was a kid. My favorites were Johnny Valentine and Buddy Rogers.

3)What was your most memorable moment in your career?

My WWF Hall of Fame induction.

4)Who was your biggest rival (or rivals)?

Dick the Bruiser

5)Who was probably your toughest opponent?

George Steele


6)Besides winning the tag titles with Jimmy Valiant on numerous occasions, what were some of the other championships you have held?

AWA and NWA Tag Team Titles

7)Throughout your career, you worked as a face and a heel.  Did you prefer being the bad guy over the good guy, or vise versa?

Bad guy is the hardest of all.

8)What would you say was your  biggest acheivement in your wrestling career?

Becoming a commentator for the WWF.

9)Besides the wrestling business, you are also an actor.  Do you feel that all your years of wrestling experience helps you with your acting?
Not at all. Not even once.

10)What kind of advice could you give to up and coming wrestlers?

I work as a play by play man, guest ref, ring announcer, manager and occasionally even wrestle on indie shows even today. I would tell up and coming wrestlers not to take foolish risks in the ring. What for?
