Rob Gordon's interview with Gateway Championship Wrestling's  Lightweight Champion, Dingo...
First off I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Rob Gordon and I'm representing "Pro Wrestling in The Know". This is the very first of what I like to call my "One True" Wrestling Review! On December 10, 2005 I was in Mount Vernon, Illinois at the YMCA. I have been given the fantastic opportunity to be here with some very talented and gifted atheletes from Gateway Championship Wrestling. Tonight they put on thier ring wear and lace up thier boots for "Season's Beatings 3"! I got a chance to talk to several GCW Superstars before the action started...getting to know a little bit about these promising young men...

Rob: I'm here with GCW Lightwieght Champion, Dingo. How are you doing tonight?
Dingo: I'm doing great, Rob. I wanted to say I checked out PWITK last night it was great.

Rob: Thank you

Rob: Just getting started...Dingo...I'd like to ask you a few questions.
Dingo: I'd be glad to answer a few.

Rob: How long have you been in Pro Wrestling?
Dingo: I have been a pro wrestler for about 7 years.

Rob: And where did you get your training?
Dingo: I got my training from a little hole in the wall gym in south St.Louis, Mo.

Rob: And who was it that trained you?
Dingo: A wrestler by the name of John Blackheart, but you know by training in the St. Louis area I had a lot of wrestlers training me. Guys like Keith Smith and Chaz Wesson...People who were trained by Pat O'Conner...Nick Bockwinkle, Bulldog Bob Brown

Rob: WOW...Who or what would you say inspired you into getting into the wrestling business?
Dingo: When I was a kid, I watched a lot of Roddy Piper...I watched a lot of Jake "The Snake" Roberts...As I moved on into my teens I watched a lot of ECW counter-culture explode...Guys like Sabu, The Elimenators, and Dean Melenko, and Eddie Gurerro...The paved the way for light heavyweights such as myself.

Rob: What other Federations other then GCW have you worked for?

Dingo: NWA Wildside, NWA missouri, NWA Kansas, Ahhh, Lets see here...MidWest Powerhouse Wrestling, There has just been a lot of them.

Rob: How long have you been working for GCW?

Dingo: I have worked for GCW primarily for about 6 years.

Rob: What titles have you held here?

Dingo: Here I haveheld the GCW heavyweight title, I am currently the GCW Lightweight Champion, and have been multiple times. I am gunning for the heavyweight title again. I was NWA jr. Heavyweight Champ in Missouri.

Rob: Out of everybody you have wrestled, who would you say has been your toughest match?

Dingo: I'd say the toughest all around match I've had, and that's because the guys know me really well, you know I grew up wrestling with, Ryan Ash, he knows me move for move, he's from the St. Louis area as well. All the guys in the GCW locker room know each other very well, guys like Chaz Wesson and Keith Smith, All those guys know me really well.

Rob: What is your favorite kind of match?

Dingo: My favorite kind of match would have to be a classic strong style match, I'm a little guy so I have to pack a wallop as much as I can. So I put my all into a strong style match and try and try to come out on top.

Rob: So how would you describe your overall wrestling style?

Dingo: Well, you know I see a lot of websites, and profiles and stuff that people say stuff like you know I "High Flyin" or I wrestle this and that or I wrestle hardcore...you know I try to put it all in together. I don't want to throw myself into one specific style. You have to beable to hit on all 8 cylinders to get the job done.

Rob: if you could haveany match with any wrestler...past or present, who would it be?
Dingo: The Dynamite Kid, definatley...The Dynamite Kid. I don't wanna say I model anything I do...but Chris Benoit has been a big influence and Dynamite was a influence of his and it all rolls downhill. So I like to go right to the source.

Rob: Well Dingo, that's it for my questions. But before we go is there anything you would like to add. Something to say to the PWITK audience and to wrestling fans around the world?
Dingo: You know a lot of people say that what we do, there is not a lot of reality in wrestling. But the guys thatare coming up now...these are the guys that are gonna be there for the next level. We are making it more real for you, because it is very real to us. You know we are here to entertain the fans...we are also here to make it as real as possible. This is whatwe do so we are gonna do it for you night in and night out...it's what we do!

Rob: Well I have a great deal of respect for you guys. I grew up withwrestling and it's a big part of my life. You have no idea how much I appreciate your time and consideration. I know from talking to you and just looking around here that you are going to go very far in this business. Once again I want to thank you for your time
Dingo: Thank you Rob, it has been my pleasure.

Rob: Thank you Gateway Championship Wrestling, for letting me invade your locker room and have this conversation with one of wrestlings true Superstars, Lightweight Champion, Dingo. I have
a feeling we havenot heard the last from this up and coming young man. Be sure to check out all GCW has to offer at
