I trained in Somerset, MB under the tutelage of Ernest 'Frenchy' Rheault
Who or what influenced you to get into the wrestling business?
When I was a little tyke I wanted to be a superhero, then as I got a little older I wanted to be a movie star that played superheros. Then I wanted to be a rockstar when I saw KISS. Being musically inept, that was out of the question! Then I saw AWA All-Star Wrestling in 1983 for the first time and it was superhero/movie star/rock star all in one! I was hooked!

Who has been your toughest match?
Tougest match as in someone who really pushes me to perform at my best would have to be Joe Legend. He is a tremendous performer and one of my best friends in this business.

You had tryouts with WCW and WWE in the past. Can you tell us about those experiences, and how they affected your career?
I never had a WCW tryout but I did have a few WWE ones. After a lousy tryout in Stamford, CT in 2000, I got depressed and slacked in every aspect of the sport, I just coasted, not really pushing myself as I am doing again. When I had another shot at it in 2003 in a pre-show workout with my old buddy Rhyno, I wasn't in the physical shape I needed to be in though Arn Anderson said I had good timing and was very fluid
